This is a good choice if you are on a budget and want to stay near the beach in Rimini. The best feature of this hotel is the people that run the place. They are very helpful friendly people that make you feel at home. As with most 3-star hotels in Italy the rooms are small to very small. The room and furnishings are functional and some have nicer balconies but you don't choose this hotel to relax in the room. It's about 1 1/2 blocks in from the beach and a couple miles south of central Rimini. We arrived late at night and check in was easy and the bar was open for drinks and coffee.

After visiting Rimini and then Riccione we would never stay in Rimini but would always stay in Riccione if we returned to the area. Riccione is more upscale, much cleaner with better shops and restaurants and a nicer beach. To top this off… The prices for similar or better hotels is the same as Rimini.

Spent 3 nights here in October. We booked it because of the great reviews and we were not disappointed. Hotel spotlessly clean, Gianni, Rita and staff helpful and friendly - nothing too much trouble. Close to the beach, although a short bus journey or 45 minute walk from the centre. Great breakfast. I fell in love with Rimini mainly due to the this hotel and staff. We will definitely be returning.

We booked two nights in this hotel. It was just ok. Nothing special. Only one member of staff-quite polite girl from Ukraine. Owner could be more pleasant and could have shown more interest in guests, but didn't. Breakfast was good. My husband was happy. I was not because in country of fresh fruit you just simply can't give people canned fruit. Room was good, had balcony. Bed comfortable enough. Shower –decent.
We were terribly disappointed about dinner that was not served at hotel. We could not find any decent places around and had some disgusting dinners in nearby restaurant. For example lasagna made with pork mince-anybody want to try something like that? Rimini is a very low value holiday place and we won’t make same mistake. For money we spent we could get super holidays in Turkey, Greece, Spain. Hotel had also very bad location-very far from town centre and bus ride was 1.20 one way. They provided bikes, but did not tell you on check in. Generally bad hospitality.

We have stayed at this hotel now for about five years and on each time we have always come away wondering how Gianni and Rita manage to provide such a good service, food and facilities for the money you pay. The time spent here is so relaxed and so near the beach that you can not help but 'chill out' We have always found that all the staff are so helpful and willing to help if they can. I have no doubt that we will return again soon and would not consider staying at any other hotel because we did once and it wasn't as good as the Plaza.
