“Not so bad, but could be better”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2012

Well, It could be worse :)
The hotel itself is clean and modern.
The rooms are tidy, but they're very very small. Though there is one advantage. When you open the door you may fall onto your bed right away :)
The furniture is good, modern. But the rooms are dark. There are a lot of lamps everywhere but it's not enough. My room didn't have a window but there was a balcony. I had to keep it open all the time so that it was lighter.
A balcony by the way is very amusing :) It depends on on which side the balcony looks out. If it looks out the sea, you're very lucky. But I saw rooms that had a balcony facing the wall of the next-door hotel.
The food...Well, it was the worst thing about this hotel. It was the same during all the time I was there. Breakfast includes coffee from coffee dispanser, tea with tea bags, some flakes, yoghurt and a lot of bread and dried toasts that looked uneatable.
I had to buy something in the nearest supermarket and bring it to the hotel so that I could have a normal breakfast or dinner.
Some words about staff. The managers at the reception are welcoming and friendly. The housemaids were good. My room was cleaned every day. I had no complains.
And the sea, of course. It's just 50 metres from the hotel across the road. The beach is wide, sandy, not very clean but it's ok.
The centre of Rimini is 30-40 minutes walk from the hotel. But you can take a bus. The bus stop is just across the street.

“Good location, nice view but rundown facilities”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 October 2011

Stayed at the Remin Plaza on business for 3 nights this October. Room was reasonably clean, but neither the TV, lamp nor A/C worked. The bed was hard as a rock, but I didn't really mind as I like a hard bed. Bathroom was clean, but had one of those capsule showers where you can't get out of the spray to soap up unless you turn off the water. The worst was the breakfast -- stale breads, watery juice and hard-boiled eggs. To their credit though, we asked for scrambled eggs and they brought us a nice big plate of them to share. On the plus side, I had a little balcony with a nice (sideways) view of the beach which was just across the road. The help was hit or miss -- one guy at the desk was very indifferent and unhelpful, the other was nice nice, friendly and helpful. There are also several good, reasonable restaurants on the same street within a block or two. All in all though, I would not stay there again. There are better options in Rimini.

“Worst Hotel Ever”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 October 2011

Stayed at this hotel for during a business trip and after 2 nights of no sleep I checked out. This hotel would be fine if you were 20 years old and planning on laying on the beach all day and drinking all night. The full size bed was two small beds pushed together. There was no air-conditioning in the room and the door could not be kept open due to the mosquitoes and noise. Seemed like the attached hotel next door was a youth hostel with young people coming and going screaming all day and night. The phone, tv and internet did not work and god forbid they give you ammenities like cups, paper, pencil or adequate pillows. The bathroom was tiny and had barely enough room to take a shower. The breakfast which was included was also aweful. They have a lot of nerve calling this hotel a 4 star. I would barely rate it a 1.

Room Tip: Good room would be in another hotel.

“No good service.”

I write this review because we didn't even stay in the hotel. We booked the hotel on a bookingsite, but something went wrong with the reservation and there were no rooms available. The hotel blamed the site where we made the reservation and we didn't even get excuses. What they could do for us was look for another hotel but they didn't want to guarantee that is was as good as Remin plaza. They found a hotel for us and indeed it was worse (one star less), but more expensive, we couldn't park our car because it was already full and we couldn't eat breakfast over there. Later we found out that it was Remin plaza's ignored our reservation, so we sent an email to the hotel that we really didn't like the way they threated us, but no reaction. So it may be a good hotel, but if something goes wrong, you can't count on them.

“Good choice for budget travellers!”

I payed only Euro 38,00 for a double single use with a nice view on the sea!
I guess I couldn't ask for more.. the hotel is rated 4**** even if it's not really a 4 star..
the room was clean and nice with new forniture.. a nice balcony.. the bathroom was ok..
the breakfast could be better but, again, for 38 euros you can't ask for more! :)
I will go back again..
