everything from the start was indicating that out 4 night stay was going to be great. We pulled in and a car spot was ready for us, EVERY member of the staff was truly easy and nice to deal with, this is not a chain and the hotel really trys harder to please. We stayed in a jr. suite that was worth every penny we spent (it was very reasonable) the room was large plush carpets and draperies, the bed was great and beleve it or not the pillows were great. The entire hotel is fitted beautifully you can not ask for anything more. I have stayed in Many hotels and I think this is one of the best including the 5 star hotels I stay at. It's the STAFF that brings this hotel over the top.

I would recommend staying here and would return.

The pros:

The beds are very very comfortable. They are large, nicely made and there are a lot of fat fluffy pillows of different shapes to choose from. I had the most amazing sleep on these beds so I was very happy.

The hotel was pretty quiet and we stayed with a room with a beach view balcony. My tip would be actually to request a room withthe street view because the evening sun is on this side of the building so if you want a drink before dinner on your balcony, it will be lovely and sunny in the evening on the street side (and windy and shady on the beach side). Plus the view of the beach is not particularly impressive. The deck chairs enmass reminded me of the Matrix. It was sort of....offputting.

The Breakfast: Excellent selection, always replenished and I LOVED that it was served until noon. I hate waking up half asleep and scrambling to a breakfast you do not particularly want before 10am. This was very civilised and allowed you to sleep in, which is exactly what you want to do on a holiday.

The cons: Website a bit misleading with its pictures-there is NO pool and unless you book a package, the wellness centre (spa rooftop) will cost 15 Euro pp to enter which is a rip off for two people if you just want to sit somewhere for a bit. This area was always empty and the reason why is becasue it is not sensibly priced. To sit on the beach is half that price so at the most, it should be that.

Other than that, I would return here because of the location and good sleep we had. Rimini overall is not particularly interesting to visit compared to anywhere else in Italy, and if it rains while you are there, you would be pretty miserable. We visited San Marino which is totally overated and filled with ridiculous shops selling tacky ornaments you might buy if you are a gypsey or something. A lot of swords and armor, (because everyone goes to Italy to purchase a sheild and sword right?) But for an easy beach holiday if ALL you want to do is sit on a beach and relax and have some Italian food at good prices, then Rimini would be a good idea.

We stayed in the hotel for a week with teenagers. Perfect location! close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. Night clubs were withing walking distance. Breakfast was great and it was good for teenagers who slept late!( breakfast from 7 until 12!!!) Coctail hour every night on the terrace.
People were very nice and accomodating. The rooms were very nice. I will highly recommend this hotel.

This is the second time at the Hotel De Londres and it was even better than two years ago. The rooms are very nice, the service is excellent, and the cost is reasonable. We went both time during EXTREMELY high season, the last week of July. All arrangement were done through the internet. The Wifi coverage is very good and the cost minimal: perfect for my iPhone. We enjoyed the free evening wine & cheese: they have these daily. Also athe beach umbrellas are included with your stay, and that is a good plus.

Highly recommended.
