“Excellent for a short break”

Booked hotel before checking on trip advisor, Having read other reviews I was expecting the worst. But the hotel was very pleasent ,nicely situated right on the edge of the main strip but back far enough to be quiet. Close to the beach and a quick bus ride (#11) to the train statin and old town. Breakfast was really good , staff very pleasent and helpful. No problem leaving bags after checkout and having a freshen up due to a late flight.
The room was very clean bright and airy , made up of a bedroom, toilet and livingroom including free soft drinks in mini bar. large balcony. Would recomend.

“Rude Manager and 2 star NOT 4 star! Won't ever stay again!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 July 2010

The pictures are extremely misleading. The decor and style of hotels is extremely dated and poor and hotel is through back alley off main road. The towels in the room are like kitchen tea towels and if you dare to ask for a beach towel the hotel 'director' will scream and shout at you in Italian, which was translated as the beach towels are an optional luxury that the hotel doesn't have to provide and you should go buy your own towels! The good things were that breakfast was decent and open until 11am and rooms cleaned every day. Overall, depressing hotel and rude manager made stay not a pleasant one. Swimming pool was extrememely disappoint too.

“DON’T STAY HERE!!!!”

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in!!!!! The rooms look nothing like the pictures, the paint was chipped, the towels threadbare, it was dirty, the staff rude and most of the staff cannot speak English; our view was of the car park and bins! When I asked to be moved the manager said you booked with lastminte.com and that is the room you get!! DON’T STAY HERE!!!! Also you have to pay 50 Euors for the use of the kitchen which is not mentioned in the blurb!

Dear Mrs. Hugnes,
I ‘m verry sorry to hear that complaint. I can provide to explain what happened:
The kitchen is not mentioned on lastminute.com and the receptionist ask to the guest on arrival if they wish to use the kitchen facilities and the price.

I’ m sorry the room was no appreciated also for the view, the sun that no came on to the balcony, but it was no possible to change it while we was fully booked.

I don’ t believe that the hotel keeper said that we provide the worst Suite to the lastminute.com Guest. I’ ll check it.

However we thank The Gust for the comment (worst notwithstanding ), it help us to get better.

“Quality accomodation”

Stayed here 1 week June 2010 good quality accomodation friendly staff very helpful,
but one thing I must point out in our apartment was a Kitchen area behind a shutter,
to gain access you have to pay an extra 50 Euros to use it of which there was no mention when we booked so beware, otherwise would recommend this accomodation.

“Great 4star hotel 5mins walk from beach front!!!!!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 September 2009

The room was extremely spacious and very clean and up to 4star standards. Receptionist was helpful and spoke good English and parking is available at no extra cost. The only downside was the view from the balcony, the hotel is set back from the main street Vespucci which is quite built up so our view from the balcony was of a larger hotel in front not too much of a problem though. Good value for money also for a 4star and breakfast was included.
