The Park Hotel is never a 4 Star Hotel the room we were given was small and very basic and not a sea view as promised ( sea views full ?? ) the Restaurant for breakfast was so disorganised that you had to set your own table before going to the buffet , the food was ok for Italy as breakfast is not their strongpoint. and the nrestaurant staff could not really be bothered. The pool area was quite sheltered but basic with many of the sun loungers broken and in need of replacing though the pool was cleaned every day. The Hotel is located between 2 main roads so the traffic noise is terrible into the early hours and as our AC did not work leaving a door open for fresh air made it worse. The hotel is also in use by some sort of business for exporting clothes to Russia and Romania so a lot of the time there were boxes of clothes being shipped in and out of the hotel. Good points........opposite is a very good Italian Restaurant and buses to San Marino ( well worth a visit ) leave from the nearby square ( well that was until the 14th Sept ) All in all I would NOT recommend this hotel for a relaxing holiday but may just be ok for a long weekend. Rimini itself was a big disapointment though Bologna was well worth a days visit.

We stayed here when we travelled over to see NI play San Marino. It was close to the train station and a couple of minutes walk to the excellent Bounty Bar.

The rooms were modern and very clean, we had a great view of the beach which is just across the road from the hotel. As it was close season most of Rimini was quiet, the Park Hotel had a small bar area but outside they had a large seating area with outdoor pool.

The staff were very friendly with a good grasp of English and while I slept in and missed breakfast others said it was nice and had a great choice.

Would ike to get back to stay there in summer season.

All in all a good value hotel well worth a visit.

Hi we stayed in The Park Hotel during August 2007. It was a nice hotel with a really lovely lounge area (having stayed in 10 different hotels during the trip this was the nicest lounge). Really easy to get to from the train station - Bus Number 11, Stopping at bus stop number 14.

Only thing with children is that the pool at the hotel is closed between 12.30 pm and 3.30 pm every day - couldn't really understand why!

The Receptionists were lovely. Spoke good English and asked each time we saw them if they could do anything to help us. Every time we asked for our room key they would remember our names, ie. Mr Hughes, which was a nice touch.

The beach area is straight infront of the hotel and it is cheap to sit there, especially on the Park Hotel beach as you get a discount card from the Reception. The sea is very suitable for children as it is shallow for a long time.

I didn't realise how touristy Rimini has become - very like Blackpool now. Be careful how much the service charge is at restaurants.

Nice British Bar next door to hotel. Great Nescafe coffee!! Huge plates of food. Entertainment every night.

Lots of things to do there. On the square near the hotel there is a tourist information selling tickets for trips. They speak excellent English and are really helpful.

The water park is a nightmare - don't bother unless you like standing for hours in queues!!

There is a lovely atmosphere at night with people selling things from the pavements. Don't buy any venetian glass jewellery if you are going to Venice as it was very expensive in Rimini.
