“wi-fi end plug”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 January 2012

I was linving in this hotel on December. I noticed 2 points which i'd like to tell here:
1. There is no wi-fi free of charge. When i asked the reception what about wi-fi, the officer gave me a card, saying "i'm granting you 2 hours free-of-charge internet connection". But the speed was incidently slow, and i can imagine how i will be mad if i bought it.
2. All AC plugs in the room were with italian tiny orifice and i didn't find any adapter to connect standard pc plug in it. When i asked it on the reception, i was advsed to buy it in the nearest store behid the corner...

“Astoria Hotel Parma”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 January 2012

It's a handy location and it's a good enough hotel, very similar to most other hotels in Parma. One thing that annoyed me was the lack of english TV channels, but these are very hard to come by in Parma in general!

A great value for your money . . . close to the train and short walk into town. Parking Lot for
Rental Car which we used for Food Tour. Clean and Comfortable Rooms.

“Excellent accommodation for our needs”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 December 2011

Hotel is ideally situated just a short walk from town. Room was clean and tidy and the breakfast was excellent.
Would definitely recommend this hotel and if we ever return we would not hesitate as to book the Astoria again.

“Good quality versus price ratio.”

Even though the location is not very attractive for art-lovers, only a fifteen-minutes walk introduces you in the core of the town, a fabulous one. The hotel is warm and clean, and the cost compensates the "central station environment". I big benefit is having a large parking in the hotel.
