We stayed here for two nights whle we visitied Ferrari, Lambo and Pangani for my son's birthday. I was a little surprised by the setting of the hotel, because from the hotel's website I was expecting a Villa in the country. In fact, it is right off of a major road, although the back of the hotel opens onto a pool with an expanse of land behind it. It is a few kilometers into town, so this hotel is really suited for people travelling by car - plenty of free parking, as well. and a station with less expensive gas right next door.
The hotel is divided into a 4 star main building and a 3-star annex. We booked a triple room in the 3-star annex, but upon check-in were offered a room in the main building at no extra cost. The room was spatious and the beds firm and comfortable. We had no problem opening the shutters in our room that looked out over the pool. The 15 to 20 m pool was clean and, it was nice to be able to lay in the lounge by the pool with a drink from the bar. There were a few very small but aggressive mosquitos that were a bit unpleasant. There is also a foosball table, a sauna and couple of exercise bikes.
The staff was very accommodating and helpful, and the breakfast varied and plentiful (e.g. scrambled and boiled eggs, as well as an assortment of cerals, cheese, yoghurt etc.
There were a few quirks, such as the room safe not being attached, but overall it was a pleasant stay. If looking for a place to stay in the Modena area, and travelling with kids, this place is a good bet.
