“Very new hotel, nice breakfast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 October 2011

Stayed at UNA for two nights this week while we went to both Ferrari and Osteria Francescana; the hotel is just over a year old and very well appointed. Ferrari actually use this for their owner visits!

The rooms are well appointed with designer bathrooms and even TV sound in the bathroom (if you want it). The breakfast was nice and better than most for the cost of the hotel.

The cab fare was $35 euro return to Osteria Francescana which is fair and reasonable.

“Great new hotel, good price-quality ratio”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 October 2011

Hotel is brand new and very clean. Breakfast is better than in similar price range hotels. Service was excellent with good tips of Modena. It´s located a bit far from Modena city centre (7 km). If you have a car it´s not a problem.

“Immaculate, very modern and efficient”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 September 2011

Although we travelled as a couple we actually stayed here for 2 nights when doing business with Ferrari. Ferrari chose the hotel, and I think this says quite a lot - the fact that they deem it good enough for their customers and business partners speaks volumes.

We found it to be extremely modern (a newly built hotel, it just celebrated its first year in business) and, as such, immaculately presented and very well equipped with the latest of everything. It's very modern in style, though not quite as gaudy as I think it looks on the website. Our room was an excellent size (executive double) with a huge and very comfortable bed, a really beautiful modern bathroom and electronic touchpad controls for aircon, chambermaid service etc. It was also quiet and we got excellent sleep up on the third floor. There was a large car park and, perhaps because the hotel is rather isolated and out of town, it felt safe and secure.

Breakfast was pretty good - self service buffet style, but they had something of most things. Nothing exceptional, but sufficient. Staff were friendly enough and helpful when needed. It all felt very efficient.

There is no nearby town to speak of, and nothing to do, and so I would class this very much as a business hotel. That said, if you just wanted to use it as a base for visiting other areas, it's so well connected by nearby major roads that a couple driving around could certainly use it - just don't expect anything too romantic, soft and fluffy!

We had absolutely no problems here at all, and could not find fault with anything. Overall this is an excellent, spotlessly clean hotel which we would have no hesitiation in recommending.

Room Tip: Executive doubles are very spacious, and seemed very quiet too.

“Brand new hotel with a reasonable price-quality ratio”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 August 2011

We stayed one night at this hotel with 2 rooms. The hotel is brand new and well designed (with style). It is located outside the city of Modena on the road to Maranello (so, quite convenient if you are planning to visit the Ferrari factory). The rooms were functional, correctly equipped, and very clean. The staff at the reception was friendly and helpful. There was also a large parking facility with surveillance cameras. We paid 125 euros per room per night (including breakfast) which was a good reasonable price-quality ratio (considering the fact that everything was quite new). The only negative point was the restaurant for the evening dinner : the food was good and well prepared, but clearly over-priced.
