My first stay in"organic" accommodation, and a pleasant one, too! The B&B consists of a large apartment, housing some 4 rooms with private bathrooms, and a shared kitchen, where the manager also offers breakfast (organic, Italian style). The interior is decorated tastefully with natural materials, the room was big enough for 2 of us. The apartment gets rather stuffy in the summer, but there was an air conditioner at least in our room. There is wifi-access in the rooms.
The hotel is pretty much automated - you will receive your keycard for the doors, the manager just comes there in the mornings to settle the bills and prepare breakfast. You can pay by card. The manager sais she doesn't speak English (and the guidelines she left us were Google translated and hilarious), but all in all, this was no obstacle. I'd love to have her as my Italian teacher, if I ever took up studying Italian. :)
The downside was parking. The B&B offers no free parking opportunities, and outside, it's rather pricey. But you can take your car to a parking house, where 24h ticket costs somewhat less than parking on the street, if you're staying for longer. Parking is free in the night and on Sundays. The historic centre is some 15 minutes walk away from the B&B.
