I recently spent a fantastic week in Bologna visiting my daughter who is studying there. The Hotel Touring was perfect for me as a single traveler. My room was cozy but very clean with a modern bathroom. The front desk staff was excellent and the breakfast which is included, was delicious, with a nice assortment of items and freshly baked goods. The location is close to the Piazza Maggiore and the lovely shops of Bologna and about a 20 minute walk to the train station. The hotel is on a side street so it was wonderfully quiet at night. Just perfect!

This Hotel offers great value for money and a genuine warm welcome to guests.
It is a small, friendly hotel, situated on the south of the city, and is a 5 minute stroll from the centres of interest, many good restaurants and the shopping areas.
It is in a quiet side street and offers undisturbed peace to guests..
The staff are all very friendly and do want to help their guests to enjoy and to get the most from their time in Bologna.
The Hotel is clean, well run and rooms are very well appointed and comfortable (stayed in standard double room with bath).

I found the hotel very elegant and with a very good breakfast (the only problem is that the room for the breakfast is quite small and so you are not very comfortable when having breakfast).
The staff was very friendly and when I asked about the possibility of using the PC with the internet connexion located in the hall the person replied that it was not free, I said then that it was just for reading my email and so the person offered my very kindly a day of internet access free of charge!
I asked some other information the following day to another person of the staff and she also was very friendly and helpful.
The hotel is very well situated just 10 minutes walking from Piazza Maggiore in a very nice area.
Concerning the price, I taked advantage of a very good price in a site doing hotel reservations and so I spent a lot less that the official price of the hotel.

This hotel is beautiful. We upgraded and we were not disappointed. The views are amazing, like out of tourism commercial. Comfortable beds, delicious breakfast! The homemade croissants were to die for...ate 2 ever morning!! Staff very friendly and went out of their way to assist us. You can walk to many of the sites and restaurants.
Elevator is small, and stairwell in old, curved and tight...but this is all part of the charm.
I hope to go back some day soon.
