Only a 10 minute bus ride to the center of Bologna and it feels like you are staying in the country. Lovely rooms although a bit dark but as it was so hot this was fine to keep sun out.
Our room was right by the busy road and road noise was constant but closing the window and putting on aircon solved the problem. Otherwise this is a lovely hotel, very good staff,
excellent standard of refurb and the added bonus of being able to use the restaurant and pool of the sister hotel 200 yards away. Poolside BBQ at the Savoia Regency was excellent and the pool and poolside staff at the bar very professional. There is also a
huge public park next door to hotel ideal for walk after great breakfast.This is very good
hotel and an ideal place for exploring Bologna and the surrounding area and is 5 minutes from the main motorways so hence the road noise but that is the only negative.

We stayed 3 nights at the Savoia and really liked it. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely,fresh and lots of choice. The gardens were really nice and made it feel like you were in the countryside . It was about a 10 to 15 min drive to city centre. We ate
dinner at the Savoia Regency(sister hotel) which was 3 mins walk and had some of the best meals we have ever eaten in Italy . There's also a park at the back of the hotel . We used the gym and swimming pool at the Regency hotel as well. I would definetly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for good service and good value.

This hotel is a gem in a busy city - easy access to town center and highway - yet when pull into the gated entry, feel like you're away from it all. It has partnership with larger Savoia hotel across a pedestrian street where there is great pool and fitness center - while the country house itself maintains great charm. The on-site restaurant had excellent bolognese cuisine!!

we stayed here primarily as location for day tripping. staff at hotel and restautant at nearby savoia resolt hotel were amazing. room was comfortable and clean. good at garantellis (spelling) at hotel across the street was wonderful. staff at both location were accommodating to our needs. we spent a relaxing day at pool with some of the best poolside service. country house is small but wonderful. really good value for moneyl
