“Good hotel with not working wifi/adsl”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 December 2010

- polite receptionist
- clean bathroom
- appropriate size of the room
- normal breakfest (nothing special)
- hotel is relatively far from city, bus 25 is going directly to the city center
- not working cable internet in the room (they didnt repair it during 3 days), not working
wifi connection. In the hall is a computer which can be used by guests
- during the 2nd morning someone very drunked knocked laud on my door (forced way
to my room). I advised the guy that he has bad room number and that here isnt a girl
called Jane. Fortunately he understood it after 5 minutes and the knocking ended.
Security should be improved.

“A little far out, but super value and within a 15 min bus ride of the city center”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 November 2010

Man, I can't say enough good things about this hotel. We drove in and found the hotel with no problem, however after dropping a friend at the centralle stazione, I didn't want to drive into Bologna again. Luckily, this hotel has a large, free car park and the end of the line of one bus route is almost at the doorstep of the hotel. For 1 euro, you're on your way to the city center with no trouble. The bus takes 15 minutes and arrives at the hotel about every 15 minutes. The room was clean and nice, but nothing to write home about. There was free internet and a pretty good free breakfast. I really was pleased with this hotel. If you're looking for a hotel in the middle of things, this isn't the one, but if you're looking for great value within easy reach of the city center, this is the place to stay.

“Super Super Value (if no trade show is happening)”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 October 2010

Yes, it’s quite a way out of town, but at non-convention times, the value of this hotel is outstanding- actually a give-away. The hotel is located in an industrial/office/farm zone of the city, quiet, but with no charm or local amenities. This did not bother us as we walked Bologna until late and made sure we caught a late bus back to the hotel where the bus line ends conveniently. We never waited for more than 5 minutes for a bus into the city which took approximately 15 or 20 minutes. Bologna is quite a large city so the bus route, which runs all the way to the south end of town provided us with a way to supplement walking without back-tracking.

We had requested a double and were placed in a triple, which was not an issue and although not a large room, had significant storage in the entry hallway. The bathroom was an Italian anomaly- HUGE, yet the shower, which was small and enclosed fully, still managed to flood the bathroom. The accommodations have an oddly colored (by American standards) italo-modern suburban sensibility, but not offensive and very clean. Breakfast was more than adequate and seemingly catered to local businessmen rather than tourists (we were there off season to be clear). Atlho the description might sound a bit off-putting, for the price we paid and for Bologna, this was an unbelievable find and one that I could wholly recommend to anyone who wouldn’t mind the commute. It saved enough money each day to cover a nice meal!

“Value for money; location could be better”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 August 2010

Whats good:
- Great value for money; nice room, good service, very good breakfast (breads, cereal, juice, hot beverages)
- they have this option of ordering in from a restaurant closeby... which has good food and great prices

What could be better:
- a bit far from town. 20 mins each way. but it means a nice hotel at a very low price. so worth it aanyway!

“airport hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 July 2010

Hotel is located near the airport. The room is OK. The beds are little bit small but as I am not big person it was good for me - bed could be more wide, it is long enough. I liked flowers in our window. They have big parking place. Breakfast are OK, but you dont get hot buffet and they have just sweet choices no cheese or ham. If you plan to visit city centre you need a car or you can take a bus directly from the hotel to the city centre. But this might be a long drive. We didnt try it but count more than a hour. Shopping centre is located very near. Mini bar is in the room so you can cool your drinks there. Free internet point in the lobby but they had low and almost no signal so we couldnt use it.
Aircondition is in the room and is working well - I would say it is stronger than needed but when it is summer and hot outside it is very refreshing.
There is nothing around area in walking distance of this hotel and you will need a car to get somewhere or you will need to take the bus.
Pheasants live near this hotel and it was funny to see them the first night we got there. Check carefully the location and directions before traveling as we had problems to find it but it didnt take long to get there. Hotel Ramada is visible good enough and we knew that Imperial is close to this hotel.
