- spacious & clean room
- strange policy (a part of reception staff doesnt allow visitors)

- fast connection to city center - stop of bus 25 in about 400 metres away
- very good value for money (if you catch a room for 30 €/night)

We stayed there during our trip to Italy. The price was very low (about 30+euros, incl. breakfast) and with extra vouchers it was almost free, so I am not complaining. However, I think I could have done better chosing a hotel closer to downtown of Bologna.
Good: free parking, although it seems that the parking itself is not that big, so contact hotel in advance if you want to reserve during the peak season. Rooms are big enough (we have asked for triple room and our friends stayed in double).
So-so: breakfast was ok, but the breakfast room was always crowded and you have to wait to get any food and even seating space was not always available. Coffee was really bad if you compare it to otherwise very good coffee one can get in Italy.
What I did not like about the hotel, was its location - far away from the center, with busses not so often, especially in the evenings. No shops around that I have noticed. View from the room either over railway tracks or empty parking lot and busy street.
As we only had one full day to see Bologna, it probably was not a good idea to spend time getting to and from this hotel. But if you are there only for a short stay and the price is good - it would still make it a good value.

We found this Hotel very average and I guess we got what we paid for. We found some of the staff not very helpful and only hope it was because the could not understand English very well. We had booked a double room and our room was two single beds. We were however able to change. However some of the staff were very helpful such as the guy who helped us with extra pillows and new batteries for our TV control - thank you. The breakfast were not very good for us as we are not sued to eating pastries/cakes for breakfast. We did find some cornflakes and yoghurt's but some sliced fruit/fruit salad and cooked food would not of gone amiss. We found we could not use the wireless internet in our room with the voucher as I think the signal was not strong enough for where our room was located. Overall the Hotel was clean and tidy.

PROS
- the price of the rooms - very reasonable in comparison to other hotels
- cleanliness - room was cleaned everyday
- minibar and safe deposit
- breakfast - variety of food offered (mainly sweet)
- restaurants in neighborhood - just a few minutes
- good connection with the city centre - approx. 15 minutes by bus number 25

CONS
- far from the city centre
- mainroad and train line in front of and near hotel - noisy all day and night
- some prostitutes were staying in view from balcony - not exactly in front of hotel
- restaurant at the hotel was not opened in the evening
- staff not very friendly but nothing you can not cope with :)
- internet was quite expensive at the hotel
