We just spent one night at the Alliance Hotel, the night before boarding our flight back to the US. The location is perfect for an early flight, as the hotel in less than 10 min from the airport. We had dinner in town prior to reaching the hotel, so I cannot comment on dinner, but breakfast was abundant and good. The rooms were of standard size for a European hotel and nicely appointed. Very clean. The bed was good. Staff was very nice and accommodating. My 6 yo daughter fell sick at night with a stomach virus and made a mess of the bed and the hotel staff offered to move us immediately to a different room and then helped us move. In the morning, she fell sick again in the breakfast room and everyone was super nice about it. They gave us a supply of crackers to take with us on the flight, in case she got hungry later. In a nutshell, a very good hotel nearby the airport with attentive and competent service. I will stay here again when flying in/out of Bologna's airport.

“Out of Town, Good Staff”
Hotel is an old stately home which is very nice but its in the middle of nowhere. Rooms are ok. The bar is great with the staff continually bringing snacks as you drink.

“Past its prime”
We booked here because we had an early flight. It was as described on the website we used, so there were no surprises. Situated just outside the city - no catering facilities midafternoon - the closest was a McDonalds in a shopping centre about 1km away. The window shutters didn't work. Room was clean and tidy. Evening restaurant quiet - one other diner. Breakfast quiet - 1 other (different!) diner.
