I had stayed at another of the Art hotels in Singapore which was a star higher than this hotel as when I had been in Florence before I had been put off by the outside entrance to the hotel, but having now stayed here I have to say I could not tell the difference between the two. This hotel was as good if not better than the other four star one round the corner. We had a lovely room, the breakfast was great and the service was fantastic. The hotel itself is really convenient for the centre particularly if you have a car as it is also next to one of the only centre car parks that you are allowed to park in as a hotel guest (you have to pay). I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough - do not be fooled by the entrance this is a lovely hotel and great value for money. One tip for travelers arriving ask the hotel for directions to the carpark before you even try and enter the city and do not rely on your sat nav which does not indicate the streets you are not allowed to drive down!!

Great hotel. Great location and wonderful staff. Not often you stay in a hotel which has it's own stamp. So warmly welcoming and everybody was so helpful and friendly. They booked the best restaurants for us and gave the best advice possible when asked. The rooms are truly lovely - a real feel of Italy. The location cannot be surpassed - main square and shopping right on your doorstep. Super buffet breakfast. Attention to detail was superb throughout - even down to umbrellas for a rain shower! Tops on customer service.

Just back from Bologna, where with 8 school friends, we celebrated a significant birthday. Stayed at the Art Hotel Orologio! they bent over backwards to ensure our stay was one to remember. The hotel is so central, around the corner from Piazza Maggiore. Close to nice bars and restaurants. Our rooms were lovely, with decor appropriate to the classical style that is Bologna. I normally have an issue with matresses and pillows, but not here. A safe for valuables was standard in every room. Breakfast went beyond the basic 'continental' and was available until 11am every day. This meant that a late night did not mean missing breakfast!. The Directresse ( unsure of Spelling) arranged a celebratory lunch for us in a wonderful local Trattoria at the Hotel's expense. We felt very well looked after and none of the 8 of us could find fault with anything. Will we return ABSOLUTELY!

We had a confirmed reservation, and after a drive in from Rimini and some time invested to find the hotel, we were told that our reservation would not be honored because some guests "decided to stay over". Although part of a chain, the hotel did not offer to find us a room in another one of their hotels. Upon our request for another hotel, they did send us to another suitable hotel nearby, where we stayed. Very unprofessional. Buyer beware.
