We only stayed here for one night and that really was enough. If you are looking to book somewhere near Urbino there must be better places, take heed of the previous reviews on trip advisor.

The positives are that the location is perfect, with free parking right outside.

The negatives are, whilst on first looking it seems like a 4 star hotel, but it definitely is not. The rooms are quite shabby really with hard pillows, mould in the shower, very strange shower set up with changing water temperatures, hair dryer that has no power so takes an age to dry your hair, for 2 people one bath towel and what seemed to be a thin bed cover to use after your shower!! Four star hotels dont charge for wifi either but this one does. Breakfast is 11 euro each, but if you just walk to the piazza you can pay around 6 euro for 2 people.

Urbino was lovely but the hotel was a dissappointment.

This hotel is just inside the city walls. Great location. Has a good restaurant. Parking is free which was a pleasant change. Easy access to all the tourist spots.

This hotel saved our bacon when we showed up late afternoon without a reservation. They gave us an excellent, quiet double, overlooking the shaded patio, and threw in a complimentary breakfast. And what a breakfast it was; among the best on our two weeks in Italy. The young front desk receptionists were extremely helpful and understanding.
The bed was comfortable, the a.c. worked well, the bathroom was spotless and large, all very nice. Especially nice was the location - just inside the city walls with free parking just outside the hotel door (really important in Urbino). It was a stiff, but short, 2-3 block walk up to the main level of the city.
Don't miss walking around Urbino. We made a special trip up from our Umbria vacation just to the the Palazzo Ducale museum and it would have been worth it at twice the distance. And the rest of the small city is delightful.

Comfortable bed, good breakfast, excellent position but our room furnishings and towels were rather worn - didn't feel 4-star.
