“Good location, terrible room.”

I stayed here for 3 nights during a trip through Italy. Location was good for me as it was near to train station. The room however was not good, no window (except in roof) very small, bed right next to toilet (sliding door) uncomfortable bed and shower was awful (no water pressure)
The two owners were both friendly and helpful but overall was not a good experience for me.
Hotel is clean however on this trip i had stayed in hotels in Florence and Bologna which were cheaper and a million times better. If you are on your own this hotel may not be so bad but avoid if there are more than one of you.

Shared 4 bedroom with sisters/daughter. Beds very comfortable. Bathroom newly refurbished but no shower pressure only a trickle of luke warm water. Staff very rude choosing only to speak Italian as they live in Italy, breakfast very poor Staff arrive after 8am to serve 1 slice of toast and 1 cold cup of tea. No tea/coffee making facilities power switched off in kitchen when staff leave. No reception from TV in room

“Super place - nice people”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 August 2008

We showed up in Rome a day early and didnt have a room. We were rec'm to here. It is on the 5th floor (take the elevator reserved just for them) and was quaint. On one side of the top floor of an old building. Very new and clean. The people are super nice and go out of their way to make sure you are happy. They referred us to a resturant, giving us thier name and we were treated like royalty there. Nice sized room for family of 4 (3 beds), mini fridge, tv, bathroom (water pressure was terrible - but thats a given we have found) super sized towels (something new to us!) Normal Italian breakfast included, good coffee. Would stay there again if to ever go to Rome again!
