It was not bad choice. Comfortable room, clean bathroom and nice welcome.
I have only one advice - don`t ask them to order a taxi. We`ve asked for it and have been told that it will not cost more than 15 EUR. I do not know what kind of taxi the hotel owner ordered, but it cost us 30 EUR - from the hotel to Termini station... Moreover the driver was not nice and was not speaking english.
Despite it - it was a pleasant stay.

Was booked as a last minute deal and my wife and I were more than happy with the hotel. It is a little further away than some of the central hotels but once you've been to Rome you will realise the central area, including this hotel, nothing is that far away. The area is also very nice - one of the upmarket areas. The room was very clean, service good and as one review has said feels more like an apartment than a hotel. Is small but has everything you want!

Except tram noise everything was very nice, great bathrooms, nice breakfast, Dominika is just very sweet and helpfull, you will love this place.

Residenza D & D is a beautiful, clean and convenient Bed & Breakfast near the Piazza del Popolo in Rome. The innkeepers, Dominika and David, are lovely and extremely accommodating and they also speak perfect English which was a huge benefit for us. The inn is only 2 blocks from the Piazza del Popolo and Villa Borghese and Flaminio Metro Station so it was very easy to travel throughout the city. Dominika arranged transfers to/from the airport along with tours of the Vatican and other attractions. She also customized our breakfast (included) each morning to suit our taste. The rooms are newly renovated, clean and beautifully decorated with excellent air conditioning and free wireless internet. We had a wonderful stay and hope to return to Residenza D & D again the next time we visit Roma!!
