I have stayed at this B&B between the 12th and the 18th September 2007 with my girlfriend. Since we wanted to spend a lot of time outside in order to properly visit Rome, we were not interested in luxury accomodation and this accomodation was perfect since it was not expensive (80 EUR per night per room during September which is peak season), very central, clean and comfortable.
The property is housed in the first floor of an unattractive building in front of Termini Station from where you can catch all the buses, trains and metro to go around Rome and beyond. The property is also served by a small elevator which comes very handy if you have luggage. The room we were allocated was very spacious and clean, and had an ensuite bathroom with a shower cubicle. The room also had a wardrobe with an inbuilt electronic safe, a desk with a complimentary internet connection and a TV. Although close to the station, the room was very quiet (due to double glazed windows) and had an A/C. The best point about this property were the owners who were really nice to us and gave us a city map and explained any difficulties we had during our stay. Obviously one must keep in mind that the property is a small B&B and therefore the facilities offered by a hotel cannot be expected.
Although the Termini station area is not that attractive, we always felt safe in the evening when we returned back to the B&B. The only 'negative' point point about this property was the Breakfast since it was not served on site but was in the form of a voucher redeemable for a croissant and a coffee at a cafe a couple of metres from the property.
I would definitely reccommend this property to persons wishing to visit Rome without spending too much money on accomodation and would myself stay at this property again should I visit Rome again.
