We booked a room for 4 adults but noticed that the double decker bed given is actually for children so I wouldnt recommend anybody heavy to sleep above since the mattress is supported by springwood only.

Location wise it is good, less than 10 minutes away from the Manzoni Metro station and about 20-30 minutes to the Colloseum.

It has a nice restaurant beneath with good food.

Staff is friendly and good but often unavailable if you leave early in the morning and return late at night, but they left a number for any emergencies.

The room is clean and comfortable but the air conditioned has a timer and has to be manually switched on again (and again and again) if you find it too hot.

Another no frills hotel. Good value.

I would never go back there again. I wish I could say something about it, but the truth is I was there for almost one hour ringing the bell and nobody answered it . Nobody answered the bell , nor the phone ......... a real nightmare ......

After noting the previous comments re the entrance we found the B&B easily (it is at te top end of Via Merulana). Very clean, spacious enough for the price, easy walking to metro and the breakfast was served downstairs in their cafe - simple but fine. We would definitley stay there again.

Excellent location, about 10 minutes walk from the Colloseum. Ignore the dodgy looking front-door, once you get inside the b and b is clean and tidy! Our room was a decent size with a big shower room as well. The rooms are air-conditioned, but we had to ask the manager to turn it on as he kept turning it off....
Breakfast is served next door to the b and b, in a little cafe - lovely croissants and pastries - not so nice cereal on offer.
I would stay there again - ideal for a weekend sightseeing break with family or friends. I went with my younger sister and we both felt safe in that area at night.
