“A great hostel (with a helpful operator) off the beaten path”

Roman and Italian was a great spot for our first time in Rome.
Just a 5-10m metro ride from everything you want to see and do in Rome, it is tucked away close to a university with almost all the amenities you need to get started.
There are small food vendors walking distance (5m) and grocery stores - if you're so inclined.
Francesco (hostel operator) was a great resource! He greeted us and gave us the quick whirlwind tour of the facility as well as helpful hints regarding metro times, maps, and about anything else we could think of asking him.
The facility itself is very small BUT clean. We stayed in a single room with a balcony and fridge (it was just enough for what we needed)
There are 2 washrooms and a kitchen that was used fairly frequently which is great if you'd like to pursue that option.
Checking in and out was a breeze and the wi-fi was great (1euro)!
A simple place that wont kill your wallet and if just far enough away from all the craziness to you can stay sane!

“Great hospitality, nice rooms, cosy apartment and good location.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 May 2011

The owner of the hostel is very friendly and helpful, tries his very best to make us feel at home. The dorm of the hostel is very cosy, with sofas and balcony for people to get together. Rooms and toilets were clean and tidy. Located near metro, with supermarkets, fast food and restuarants nearby.

“Great Value & Location!”

TwinCities is a very clean hostel and is easily accessible from the subway. It takes about 15 minutes to get to the city centre. However, the location is great as it is near food that is cheaper and is down the street from a supermarket (hostel has a kitchen so you can cook your own meals and save money). Our only complaint is that the bathrooms were a bit small. The host, Francesco, is very friendly and welcoming.

“Great hostel for the money, highly reccomended!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 November 2009

Francesco is a great guy, very friendly and a welcoming host. A bit out of the city center, but a nice neighborhood that most visitors don't get to.
The price is right, and I also met some very cool travellers there. Don't hesitate to book at TwinCities!
