Stayed there for about 4 days in Nov 2011 with my husband. It was our first time in Rome so we were excited to stay in a boutique hotel in the city.
Pros:
1) Hotel is a 7min walk to Lepanto Metro station.
2) Buffet breakfast is good enough to get you going for the day, consisting of a selection of breads, cereals, cold cuts and cheese.
3) Hotel and room was clean and looked freshly refurbished...(note below tiny overlooked details).
4) Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Always ready to help out.
Cons:
1) Although the hotel did look remodeled, you could still hear people through the rather thin walls, ie. walking on the hardwood floor, flushing their toilet or draining their tub next door, and one of our walls had a tiny hole, as if an electrical outlet was supposed to be there but was placed elsewhere. These were minor details that we had lived with, but it would be great if these were addressed in the long run.
2) Be prepared to stay in a room that doesn't look exactly as advertised, as each room is decorated differently but basic amenities remain the same such as en suite bath/shower, etc.
For the price, I would still recommend this to those wishing to stay in Rome.
