“Lovely alternative to a conventional hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 September 2011

We stayed here for 4 nights recently and really enjoyed it. Instead of a more conventional hotel, Ferrari B&B is based on a floor of a lovely, courtyarded Rome apartment building. It is close to the metro although we walked into the city centre in order to take it all in which was about 20-30mins depending on where you were heading.

We were greeted by an incredibly helpful & friendly member of staff who showed us our room & offered advice on staying in the city. After we checked in we were shown another entrance reached by the wonderful old elevator with wooden doors and we never saw a member of staff apart from the cleaners until we checked out although it was made obvious that they were there to help at anytime. The room itself, whilst not huge was nicely decorated with a lovely modern en suite. It was quiet, clean & comfortable.

Prati is a lovely area to stay, far enough away from the bustle of the city centre to be a little quieter but not so far away you feel removed from the atmosphere of Rome. We would recommend Ferrari B&B to others and would stay there again.

“Comfortable stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 October 2010

Great shower - spacious compared to most of Europe. Bed room spacious and quiet. Two walk out balconies(room 5). Front desk very helpful and nice. Hosts accomodating. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast common for Italy and sufficient to get you through to lunch. Location was good for metro, but 20 min walk to ancient Rome and Vatican. I would definitely stay again.

“great value for a low price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 August 2010

Ferrar BB has is located 5 min walk from Lepanto metro station and also very close to bus and tram stops. It is very close to get to Vativan city, either by metro, or by buses.
There is a store and some trattorias located around, where you can get good food by reasonable prices.

Our room was clean, and all the equipment seemed quite new. The only unpleasant thing was a bad smell in the room, when we arrived
During our stay the weather in Rome was incredibly hot (over 40 C), but the A/C in the room was working very effectively.
Breakfast is basic - some sweetbread, crackers, jam and juice, but it is brought to your room at the time you want!
The staff was very nice, (although some of them didn't speak English), they allowed us to print some stuff on their printer. Very customer-oriented.
Simply: a very nice place.

“Lovely place in great area.”

One may think that Prati is not a great place to stay in Rome but this is completely wrong. Quiet, residential area full of wonderful little places where locals eat or buy is much, much better than pretty dangerous Termini area where most of the budget hotels are located. Public transportation is great (bus stop is in front of the palazzo where Ferrari is located and metro station within 5min walk) so all the main sights can be easily reached by bus or metro. Though Ferrari B&B is not very cheap, it is surely decently priced for what you get: great, modern rooms, newly refurbished, breakfast which is brought to your room (maybe not the best you've ever had but this is roman standard).

I greatly enjoyed our stay there in March 2010 and I'm sure we will be back soon.
