We stayed in an en-suite room, and the toilet was disgusting as you can see in the pictures, it needed cleaned properly and a new seat. The room itself was fairly clean but all the furniture had been bought as cheaply as possible from Ikea, and the 'double' bed was two singles pushed together, which would not stay together. The set of fabric shelves for our clothes were too filthy to use so there was no real wardrobe space apart from the one for hanging clothes up. We tried to book a room without breakfast but they told us there were none left, even though they could easily have removed it from the room as it was awful. We stayed for 5 nights and were given 4 pre-packaged croissants and 5 small cartons of apple juice, as well as some cheap teabags, instant coffee and a few jam portions. You could not feed yourself for 5 mornings on less than half a croissant! As it was cash on arrival we refused to pay for the breakfast which they had tried to charge us about £30 for. There were no staff in the B+B apart from when a guy turned up to let people in or to clean. The lock on the door to the room was very difficult to open and so we didn't feel safe locking the door from the inside as it sometimes took several minutes to open. This wasn't just me being an idiot either as throughout the night we were woken up by other guests struggling to get their doors open as well. Apart from all these bad points, it was in a very good location right next to the Vatican and a bus / tram station. I would not recommend it though.
