“Lovely Stay in Rome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 December 2011

We stayed at Navona Garden Suites in November. We had a lovely room (DaVinci Due) with plenty of room for a family of three. The beds are very comfortable, the bathroom is huge with a great shower. Just outside the room is a beautiful courtyard, wonderful place for a cup of coffee in the morning. The fridge and cupboard were stocked daily with breakfast foods...juice, meat, cheese, cereal, coffee, tea, etc. which worked out great for us. Traian, the manager, spent quite a bit of time with us when we arrived getting us aquainted with the neighborhood, offering restaurant suggestions, and answering our questions. The location cannot be beat. Just outside the huge wooden doors of our building were wine bars and quaint shops. We were minutes from Piazza Navona. It was the perfect base from which to explore Rome, we literally walked everywhere. It was my first time to visit Rome, and when I return (and I will 'cause I threw my coin in the Trevi Fountain!) I will stay here again...and again.

“Our Favorite B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 October 2011

We just returned from Navona Garden Suites. It is (or was) a little secret place in Rome near the Piazza Navona. It is tucked in behind the scenes of a very popular and busy area. The rooms are a good size and they have the most comfortable beds in Italy. There is a selection of food for breakfast (or a snack) in your room.

We missed seeing the owners Davide and Loredana and had a problem with the lady working there, but Loredana was wonderful in helping us out, even though she was not in Rome.
Camelia, the cleaning lady, is just the best---she is just the nicest lady!! I can't say enough about her! We really enjoyed her company.

We have already sent friends there, who stayed right before our arrival and they loved it.
We were in the room that is reported to be noisy and they have built a little wall to help with the problem. We didn't have any problem this time or before the wall.

We would definitely return and hope to see Camelia, Davide and Loredana again.

“Quiet Sanctuary”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 September 2011

What can I say that hasn't been said about Navona Garden Suites? It's a quiet sanctuary after a busy day of walking and sightseeing in Rome. It takes 4 keys to enter our 'room', which by any standards is large and comfortable, with everything 2 girlfriends travelling together could need. Triaian and Camelia treated us royally, sharing information about their city, excellent places to eat (We tried them ALL) and turning down our bed with chocolates on our pillows at the end of the day - how 'sweet' is that? Our little pantry was well stocked every day with breakfast goodies, so that we could choose to eat in our room or outside our door in the delightful courtyard, filled with plants and light. When we stepped outside the ancient door into the street, it was alive with activity - shops, restaurants and the day to day activities of all who live there....and Piazza Navona and Campo di Fiori are just around the corner, 2 great places to people watch and relax!!! So, if you're staying in Rome for a night or longer, check it out - you won't be disappointed!!!! Ciao, until next time!! :o)

Room Tip: We stayed in 'DaVinci Uno' and contrary to other reviews, the 'disco' didn't bot...

“Little gem in the heart of Rome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 August 2011 via mobile

We stayed in this boutique hotel during august. When we arrived we were offered to upgrade or room at no extra charge. The room was excellent, spacious, clean and decorated with antiques in keeping with the 500 year old building. We had booked a "do as the Romans do". This included a walk through the adjacent area with the concierge. We were shown the best local eateries for pizza salad and ice cream, we eat at all the recommendations. In each case the food was excellent, service very good and all value for money. I would recommend this to any first time visitors to Rome. The location is in the centre of historic Rome, within easy walking distance of the Navona square, the pantheon and the trivi fountain. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to soak up the beauty of Rome.

“We loved Navona Garden Suites”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 August 2011

We stayed at the Navona Garden Suites in June in the Rafaello 1 Suite and had a wonderful time. There was plenty of room (4 females so we had lots of stuff!), lots of hanging and drawer space, lovely Italian antique furniture and a little kitchen & breakfast area. Room was very quiet and beds were exceptionally comfortable so ensured a great nights sleep, airconditioning was great and plenty of breakfast supplies were included. You can't beat the location, very quiet behind the big wooden front doors, step out into the street and you have everything you need - restaurants, cafes, shops, bars, short walk to Piazza Navone, Campo de Fiori, Pantheon etc. You can easily walk (or there are buses/taxis etc very close by) to all the other big sights as well. We felt very safe and secure and the inner courtyard is just gorgeous. Traian and Carmelia are just wonderful and really made our stay in Rome a fantastic and enjoyable one with great recommendations for good restaurants, maps and lots of helpful information. (Handy having a dentist onsite too just in case you need one!). We also arranged an arrival and departure car with Traian which was perfect and on time. Carmelia is just gorgeous, she made us feel very welcome and looked after us - we felt like we were staying with long lost relatives and made to feel very at home. I cannot fault anything about Navona Garden Suites and can't wait to go back. Thanks again Traian and Carmelia for making our time in Rome so enjoyable - we look forward to seeing you again and staying at Navona on our next visit.
