We stayed at the Navona Garden Suites, in the DaVinci I room, for eight days in June. The staff is fantastic, Camelia goes out of her way to help, and even let me store part of our luggage when we went to Positano for two nights. Linda gives a very helpful tour, and has great tips on restaurants, gelato, or even the what to seek out and find in different Basilicas. Traian was very helpful with car transfers. Our room was very nice and clean. The air conditioning worked great. Having a small fridge in the room was so helpful, with a coffee maker and milk, yogurt, bread, toaster, juice, cookies, fruit. Camelia cleaned everyday and filled the breakfast supplies back up (she is wonderful). I would hire her too! I did miss having a private terrace to go out on and sip coffee in the morning, people were always outside our rooms, smoking or sitting in the courtyard. There were alot of people coming and going. We will stay here again, we enjoyed our stay and the neighborhood is great. Location was the best, five or ten minutes to so many sights, and taxi stand very close. Now there was one problem and I did ask before coming if it was still happening. THE DISCO, before booking I asked if it was still there and I was told it was closed down. Not true, It vibrated our room all night, actually shakes the windows! I did not make a big deal about it to Dennis or Traian, but having read about it in previous postings was concerned. So yes it was still open, no matter what they tell you. Not sure they can do anything about it and I have had the problem in Rome before so maybe it is not out of the ordinary? Anyway we got a good price and really liked this B&B, so maybe another room away from that wall?
