Arrived in Rome late night and called max to arrange pickup from termi train station. Due to a mix up and perhaps because we had not confirmed our booking earlier, max had no room but had quickly organised a new hotel after midnight when we meet him. He apologised for the change and went out of his way to make sure we got a good room, a discount and that we were totally looked after before leaving. I have rarely seen this level or decency and service anywhere on my travels and meant a lot as my girlfriend and I were tired and in no mood for hassle. The hotel we stayed in was basic but clean, friendly and an excellent location, thank you Michigan which despite a lot of negative reports on this website was fine for those who want a good central location whichout hassle and good value. Our trip to rome was fantastic, great city, great food, great sites and made so much better thanks to Max 's hospitality and eagerness to ensure we had a great stay.

I booked a few days for this coming May for my family through the Instant Booking service. The price online was incorrect by enough that SpazioMax could not cover the difference(I later reserved a room at another B&B but not becaue of anything SpazioMax did) which was understandable. They kept in contact with me almost daily and refunded the entire amount even the nonrefundable booking fee. They were great and the contact was very sincere. The next time we travel to Rome I am even offered a room at a nice discount. Way to go! Thanks for everything.

Rome was the 2nd last stop of our 11 day trip. At this point, we'd been on at least 4 flights and the lack of sleep was starting to catch up with us. Ontop of that, we were not greeted as "warmly" buy the people of Rome as I thought we were going to be, which was sad because it was the part of the trip I was looking forward to the most. I honestly wanted to go home. but it all turned around the INSTANT we met Max and his daughter. We have never felt more welcomed by anyone (friends and family included) in our entire lives. The room we got was above and beyond what we had expected. Windows that opened up to an AMAZING view, a huge bathroom, tv, wadrobe for our clothes lots of room, nice and cool etc. After they made sure we were comfortable, they gave us maps of the area made sure we knew how to get places, then we went out for beer (cause we're canadian and Max wanted us to feel at home ; ). He also gave us his number to make sure if anything went wrong we had someone to contact. We not only had an amazing stay in Rome because of Max's hospitality, but we made a friend for life, and can't thank him and his family enough. Spaziomax is HIGHLY recommended!
