we stayed at the domus victoria on 11th oct to 14th oct. when we got there we were shocked because of all the graffiti and the rubbish all over the place. you go into the b&b via a large door into a courtyard and up a small lift to the apartment which has been converted into 4 rooms. our room was on the front and was noisy but amazing. this is what to expect from staying in a city. We had coffee and tea facilities. the breakfast not worth bothering with a croissant and a tea or coffee or orange, I like a good english brekkie. We were 10 mins work to the colleseum and other sites old rome etc. Would recommend the b&b, but beware the italians are mad on the roads and so rude, no please or thank you in shops . Would go back as didnt see all. The metro is worth the 4 euros for day ticket gets you every where. if you fly to campino airport just get the bus and the metro to the centre cheaper than a taxi.
