“le buone recensione se le scrivono loro stessi, non ho dubbi!”

Since our arrival we got a shock, even before the ending of our stay I was wishing to escape!. That place is dirty out and inside of the room, the furnishing is old and unkempt, the share bathroom was an unbelievable mess (e.g. the door is an old pvc folding one with holes, the toilet handle was broken, the tissue they left in the bath was crumpled and stuck) and the staff doesn't care about that. I encourage you to avoid this solution in order to save money.

“It is what you expect”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 May 2011

This is absolutely as cheap as you can expect. It was definitely worth of money, because we did not expect much. We stayed there four nights and believe me: that location gave so much value for doing things, because we walked from there everywhere. You can eat at Trastevere area where food is good. So, my short review:

Cleanliness: basic. Nothing fancy, but it was worth of money.

Service: he just speaks Italian, so don't expect any service. It does not matter though.

Location: absolutely fantastic. You can walk everywhere (Vatican, Colosseum, etc) from there.

Value: well, it was really cheap and I'm troubled to see, that there are peoples who complain these hotel. They knew, that this place is very cheap so they shouldn't expect much!

Room: in order. No air condition, traffic was noisy, but we slept there quite good though. And I left part of my money there and nothing was missing. Some electrical stuff was almost dangerous, but who cares? We did not. Oh, and that fridge, who somebody said, that it won't close... It works, but you just have to use fridge key! ;)

Sleep quality: Traffic is very noisy, but otherwise okay.

Breakfast: There is not any. Get breakfast from the food store, which is in the next block.

Overall: very cheap room for four days and it was worth it.

“Worst place in the world”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 March 2010

Finally got to the B&B, We was told we had a double room with bathroom. The bathroom was on the other side of the hall way.. which is there office no lock on the door either. There coats was hanging in our wardrobe and i was asked if i had a problem with this. The telly was on the floor. It was damp smelling. The door for the fridge wouldnt shut properly and had dirty plates inside too. Owner wouldnt give us our money back but my partner and I stood our group and finally got it back. We left this place within 30 minutes of getting there. I reccomend never to even book it!! DISGUSTING!!!!!!!

“great.....much more than expected for the price we paid”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 February 2010

female shower bit small but apart from that it was great.....we lost the address to this place and wondered what to do,we hoped we could find an internet cafe so we could look up the hotel and low and behold we were just outside one! (Phone Centre / Internet Point ..Roma Vialle Trastevere 92)..the owner a young guy called Fadi was great, he rang round for us and to our amazement the Aronica were known to him as friends!!...he arranged for the people at Aronica to come for us,such a relief..we rang home from here while we waited and had welcome refreshment from Fadi,a truly lovely guy.(can get phone top up here too so make a note).
A welcoming older man met us at Fadi,s and took us back to the hotel, he didnt speak much english but it wasnt realy a problem.arring at the hotel we were amazed at these great high doors and once inside there was marble everywhere,we did not expect this and no way for the price (there is a lift if u need it and my partner is a slow walker so that was a boon)...can walk to historic centre from here and we chose here because its where/how the italians live themselves and those cobbled back streets are so romantic)..... .
this gent and his son could not do enough for you believe it, they made sure they got up to see us off at 5am, the little doggy is cute indeed...we will be returning here and to see Fadi in September, we were sad to leave ........
