“excellent hotel!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 March 2010

we stayed in Antinoo BB during march 2010. The staff was very friendly, efficient and they helped us get more familiar with Rome; even if check in hour was 15:00 pm they received us earlier and check in lasted only 5 minutes.
B&B is having a great location: near Cipro metro station and only 10 minutes walk away from Vatican.
Breakfast is served in the room and it is tipically italian.
All in all, was a very nice experience and I would recommend it to those who want to have a nice vacation in Rome.

“Clean”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 November 2009

The room was tiny but exceptionally clean, as was the bathroom. Unfortunately,I ended up being sick for 2 out of the 4 days we were in Rome. There was a flat screen television in the room which helped; however, everything was in Italian. The manager provided a lovely continental breakfast every morning which included fresh fruit, rolls with butter and jam, cappucchino, yogurt, and a sweet roll. My daughter was living only 4 blocks from us (there was a Metro station in between us). The area was bustling during the day as it is near the Vatican but the nights were quiet.

“Close to the pope!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 July 2009

We are not religious at all......in fact, we aren't even Catholic, but we chose to stay here because we wanted to tour the Vatican and check out the Sistine Chapel. This place offered us a very convenient location that is easily accessible to these places. It is just five minutes walk from the "Cipro" metro with several restaurants nearby. The B&B is situated in a very secure building. There is a supermarket around the corner.

Rooms are small but nice and clean. There is a safe connected to the closet and it's quite secure to leave your belongings in there. What impressed us was the very small fridge that came with our room. The hot shower was also good. The TV, however, does not include English-speaking channels which isn't that big of a deal, but it would be nice to have it.

Breakfast was served in our rooms and it consisted of warmed croissant, biscuits, small cake, selection of jam, yogurt, OJ and Italian coffee (tea available upon request). It's not really that inspiring because the bedroom was not spacious to have breakfast served inside......but we're not going to let this small issue spoil our holiday!

Service-wise, Hiromi and Giordano are an excellent couple who are very friendly and hospitable. They even allowed us to temporarily store our luggage at their place on the day that we were going to catch our flight back in the evening.

For the price that we paid, we think we got every Euro's worth! Definitely recommend this place!

“Place to stay near Vatican”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 July 2009

On our last trip to Rome we stayed here for 4 days. It is on the ground floor of an apartment building. It is a bit away from the center, but close to the metro station Cipro
( Line A). The bus was 492. The following link takes one to the bus route map of ATAC.

It is about 10 minutes walk from Sistine Chapel and 30 minutes walk from St Peter Basilica. Giordano and Hiromi and Renata were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and served in the room. The room was small but very clean. Fresh towels and linens were provided daily. High speed Internet was free. Cappuccino at the cafe in front of Cipro station and pizza at Restaurant Falcone were delicious.

“Great spot!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 July 2009

This place was immaculate. A tight squeeze but comfortable and they took great care of us. More like a bed and breakfast. Husband and wife. They are extremely kind and helpful. YOu can easily walk to the Vatican. Which was perfect for us, because we walked over to St. Peters at 7 am and practically had the whole place to our selves.

If you don't like to walk the owners will help you understand the bus routes or call you a taxi or you can just spend a couple bucks for an all day pass on the hop on/off double decker tourist bus. Which works well too.
