“Great location, reasonably priced, but don't expect peace & quiet”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 May 2011

My girlfriend and I stayed at this B&B for a week-long visit to Rome. Both of us had never been before, and we were overwhelmed by the number of B&B's listed, but this one seemed to be reasonably priced and in a good location so we booked it. Indeed it is in a good location - close to The Vatican, within walking distance of the Cipro metro station, and with several nice restaurants close by. Our double room with twin beds and private bathroom was clean and tidy, despite the small shower stall. However, it is in a residential area with lots of traffic during the day and due to the thin walls and windows facing onto the street, it was quite noisy early in the morning. And once the housekeeper arrives at 8:00 AM, all hell seems to break loose - doors clanging open & shut, phones ringing, her talking on the phone, and pots & pans rattling in the kitchen! Don't expect to get much sleep during your stay, and forget about sleeping in! There was also no TV (except one Italian news station) and no internet access.

“Very clean, good location, noisy in the morning”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 April 2011

We were 2 persons but we got a triple room (3 beds). It was spacious and very clean. We've appreciated the cleanliness the most. It had free WiFi, safe and a TV that was kind of small and only had Italian channels. It's not door to door to the Vatican but after a 7 minute walk you are there. 3 minute walk to the metro. So I can say that the location is good, in a relaxed area. Staff is welcoming and ready to help - there is also a place to leave your bags after checkout. Our stay there was very pleasant and restful, despite the fact that the room was noisy in the morning. I would have to point out (though it didn't bother us) that, although quiet at night, the room is noisy in the morning due to breakfast preparations and guests coming and going - noisy to the point that late sleepers are forced to wake up. Another problem might be with the air conditioning which is ok, but it's also noisy to operate. Heat seems to be turned down in the morning and we had to start the A/C to warm ourselves. Breakfast is not varied. Overall this B&B has pluses and minuses, it's not quite cheap either, but we had a good stay there.

“excellent hotel!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 March 2010

we stayed in Antinoo BB during march 2010. The staff was very friendly, efficient and they helped us get more familiar with Rome; even if check in hour was 15:00 pm they received us earlier and check in lasted only 5 minutes.
B&B is having a great location: near Cipro metro station and only 10 minutes walk away from Vatican.
Breakfast is served in the room and it is tipically italian.
All in all, was a very nice experience and I would recommend it to those who want to have a nice vacation in Rome.

“Clean”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 November 2009

The room was tiny but exceptionally clean, as was the bathroom. Unfortunately,I ended up being sick for 2 out of the 4 days we were in Rome. There was a flat screen television in the room which helped; however, everything was in Italian. The manager provided a lovely continental breakfast every morning which included fresh fruit, rolls with butter and jam, cappucchino, yogurt, and a sweet roll. My daughter was living only 4 blocks from us (there was a Metro station in between us). The area was bustling during the day as it is near the Vatican but the nights were quiet.

“Close to the pope!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 July 2009

We are not religious at all......in fact, we aren't even Catholic, but we chose to stay here because we wanted to tour the Vatican and check out the Sistine Chapel. This place offered us a very convenient location that is easily accessible to these places. It is just five minutes walk from the "Cipro" metro with several restaurants nearby. The B&B is situated in a very secure building. There is a supermarket around the corner.

Rooms are small but nice and clean. There is a safe connected to the closet and it's quite secure to leave your belongings in there. What impressed us was the very small fridge that came with our room. The hot shower was also good. The TV, however, does not include English-speaking channels which isn't that big of a deal, but it would be nice to have it.

Breakfast was served in our rooms and it consisted of warmed croissant, biscuits, small cake, selection of jam, yogurt, OJ and Italian coffee (tea available upon request). It's not really that inspiring because the bedroom was not spacious to have breakfast served inside......but we're not going to let this small issue spoil our holiday!

Service-wise, Hiromi and Giordano are an excellent couple who are very friendly and hospitable. They even allowed us to temporarily store our luggage at their place on the day that we were going to catch our flight back in the evening.

For the price that we paid, we think we got every Euro's worth! Definitely recommend this place!
