“cosy place, very clean & the very very helpful staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 November 2011

The B&Bis about 200mfrom the metro station and the area close to the centre(3-4 stops to Fontana Di Trevi &Piazza Di Spagna).
Our room was tiny and there was a terrible smell coming from the bath.We called the owner(Giampero)who doesn't live in this building but you can call him and he'll come as fast as possible to help you and fix everything.Perhaps he's the sweetest guy you can find in Rome!!Unfortunatelyhe couldn't do much about that smell.Obviously is the whole drain system of this part of the building..area..city...that needs to be fixed.
So we asked another room after 2nights and we moved to another that was very big with view in the street.Very nice
.A girl is coming every day to clean and tidy.
The common area& kitchen are very comfortable & cosy. You can spent some time out of the room and have breakfast any time you wake up and also you can use the kitchen or store sth in the fridge anytime during the day. That gives you a really nice sense of freedom.
Breakfast has everything you need.Plenty of cereals, bread, croissants, milk, juice, jam, honey, hand made cake...
As we talked with a couple who stayed there,we noticed that all rooms must be big, comfortable and very clean. The only problem is that one, tiny, also clean but smelly room.

“Private and Quiet”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 October 2011

Our first (and only!) meet with the owner was on the day of arrival where we were greeted with friendly smiles. We were shown to a decent sized double bed room, clean and tidy albeit old furnitures. And that was the last contact we had with any staff of the b&b.

The pantry is stocked with packaged food which is available for our perusal for breakfast only; coffee, tea, chocolate, biscuits, cereals, cakes, bread, jam, butter, milk. It's a self service system to which a cleaning lady will come in a few hours each day to wash up and tidy the rooms.

By far, it's the least 'watched over' accommodation I've ever been to! If you like privacy, this is a good place to be. But there will be no one to tend to your needs immediately if you need them at sometime during your stay there. So, do prepare all the questions you have beforehand; the owner will be happy to assist/answer them when he meets you for the first time.

Location wise is good as it is just walking distance from the nearest Metro which will be your gateway to the rest of the sights in Rome.

“Amazing place to stay in Rome city”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 October 2011 via mobile

My mother and I stayed here for 5 nights and enjoyed every moment of it. The location is great, relatively quiet area that is close to the metro and walking distance to the colosseum. Staff are friendly and helpful. But do not mistake this as a hotel! It is a b&b, the staff are not here 24/7! However this makes it more homely and private. Very clean rooms and kitchen. I would gladly come back here on my next visit to Rome :)

“Had a very good time there!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 October 2011

We stayed 3 nights there. The owner is very kind and hospitality, did a very good brief to the tourist spots and restaurants. Rooms are nice and clean, two of the four have a balcony.Breakfast is self-service and quite good.
It is a very good place to come back after all day sightseeing.Location is very good, metro station(2 minutes walk), train station(5 minutes walk). Also a supermarket nearby where you can have the supply very easily. And do not miss the good ice cream shop "G. Fassi gelateria". This is a nice place that I would definitely want to stay again!!

“Loved this place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 September 2011

3 nights here- close to train station and nice walking distance to almost everything in Rome.
Lovely room, with private shower/toilet, a/c control and wonderful window/balcony.
It's across street from neighborhood park - this was a wonderful respite to come home to after walking all day. Kitchen kept well stocked- love the biscuits from Italy (our stella dora types in america) - Giampero and his "brother" were welcoming and helpful. Even getting us taken to the airport upon leaving in a nice Mercedes sedan.
Wonderful visit.
