Our colleague had a laptop and a camera stolen from his locked room when he went out for dinner.
He was told to report it to the police in the morning. But he is Italian and insisted that the police were called to the hotel. Hopefully this sort of report might make the hotel sort out its dishonesty issues.
I complained when I checked out because I hadn't told my colleagues what I had read on Tripadvisor - I hadn't booked the hotel and I didn't want to pour cold water on our conference tour. I felt really bad. I told the hotel I couldn't understand why they wouldn't want to sort the honesty issue out.
Apart from this, the room was nothing special, the bar service was absolutely comically terrible (the barman couldn't find the glasses!!!) and the hotel is nothing to write home about in terms of location.

I would stay here again! Perfect location. Amazing breakfast. very nice hotel.

Perhaps my only complaint be that the bedrooms could be a little more spacious but then the beds advertised was Queen Size and to our surprise the beds were King Size.

The other complaint was the hotel could do with a fitness room as although there was a health centre next door at the reception no one spoke English.

Nevertheless the customer relationship was simply amongst the best I have seen and this is when comparing to five star properties. One of the reception staff was particularly knowledgeable on how to get to the major attractions as well as recommending very good restaurants at reasonable prices where the quality of food and service was very good.

During our last two nights I was unwell and our flight was at 9PM. When I mentioned to the manager that I was thinking about going to the health centre to get a shower because of my un-wellness she allowed me to use a room to refresh and shower myself complimentary and this is something one sees very rarely today.

I would certainly stay at the hotel again as well as recommend. Also I would like to make a note that there are adverse comments made about the hotel but if one looks very carefully these comments were made before the Hotel changed hands and is now under new ownership

please don't bother with this place! got robbed within 2 hours after check in. Our room door no longer lock but hotel staff refuse to change our room or re-location but find out the next day 5 other people also got robbed (that is how bad it is) was re-located to a different hotel . Was told hotel insurance will cover our losses but 1 year on still refuse to return my email and phone call re the matter. If you valule your safety and valuables please don't go there
