“one unfortunate complaint”

We chose this hotel having read good Tripadvisor reviews.

the location is ideal , we walked to all the sites/ sights - including The Vatican.

we stayed in a large very pleasant junior suite on the 1st floor with a view of the Fountain - no complaints there..

the unfortunate & most disappointing concern:- be forewarned..
water pressure for basin & toilet was fine - there was close to NO water pressure in the shower - especially for hot water.
a lukewarm drizzle enabled an unsatisfactory shower - hair-washing was impossible.

we were assured an "engineer" would attend in the morning & that evening advised the problem solved. NOT SO..

we were also told that no previous guest in the suite had complained - hard to believe..

we loved our five days in Rome but would not in all conscience be able to recommend the hotel.
an expensive sojourn without the luxury of a decent hot shower..

“couldn't get better”

wow! wow! I would really reccommend this hotel,,what a fantastic location, right next to the Trevi Fountain, as 5min walk from Spanish Steps.
The staff couldn't have been more helpful, I can't rate this hotel enough, our room was a really good size, and at first I thought it would be noisy as we were overlooking the front where the resturants and shops were, but once the shutters were pulled we never heard any noise from outside.
Breakfast was buffet style and the staff greeted us by name, they all spoke english
We could walk to most of the tourist attractions from this hotel, but we did catch the tube to The Vatican, fantastic location, we will be going back.

This hotel is located across the lane way to the Trevi Fountain. Breakfast is on the balcony overlooking the fountain - we went and looked at the area but we didn't eat there. We were upgraded to a 2 room, glad we were as we used one for our luggage. Rooms are very small - as I have found are most European hotel rooms. Very quiet, probably the most quiet hotel & nicest out of our whole trip so far. Very clean rooms. Our luggage was carried up to our room, small lift and only goes up a couple of flights. Very helpful staff, they assisted us with how to book our tickets to St Peters Basilica in advance and print the tickets for a small fee. Hotel includes Free Wifi that was very fast. This hotel came recommended and we weren't disappointed

Don't go near this hotel. Upon arriving they sent us to apartments down the street from the hotel..they called this the annex. It had no elevator and were just plain dreary apartments for the price of a 3 star hotel.

“Great Location!”

This hotel offered the best location in Rome! We were right across from the Trevi Fountain. Breakfast and drinks after six on the balcony overlooking the fountain was incredible. Salvo was incredible and took great care of us. Our luggage was carried up and down the stairs for us, our every request was granted with a positive attitude. I would definitely go back. Just don't get room 304. It was a noisy room.

Room Tip: Stay away from 304
