“Good value stay in expensive Rome”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 September 2011

A bit north of most of the sites but really everything in Rome is walkable. A bit difficult without the reception since you need to notify Paul ahead of time when you get there (which is difficult if you don't have a set schedule). Paul is super friendly and the rooms are nice. Breakfast is self served which means you have free reign to the snacks, fruits, juices, and coffee all the time. Only 3 rooms all with own bathroom and ac. Great value for money.

“Stay away ...”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 September 2011

It was shocking to read so good recommendations for this hotel ...but very suspicious , too !! Its definetely the worst experience I had in my trip !! And it was from the beggining when we had to wait over 30 min for the owner to come to check in ,even though we had sent him an email with our flight schedule !! When he showed up , he didint even excuse himself for the delay !!
But another shock was coming !! The building seems abandoned and the room was horrible !!
We stayed two days and they didnt even bring us clean towels for the second day!!
Of course there was breakfast ...if breakfast contains cheap packed croissants in a dirty place !! Not a good way to start your day !!
So as you can imagine , paying 196 euros for two days for this place is really annoying and embarrassing !!

“trip advisor fraud?!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 September 2011

are you kidding me? i have travelled all around the europe and this is by far one of the worst rooms i have ever stayed. Definetely rome is not a cheap town, but i had already stayed in five different hotels. Sofitel was good but defineteley expensive, hotel gea was of medium quality, residenza d&d was good (100euros/day), Bed & Breakfast Agli Horti Sallustiani also 90 euros a day...

This time referring to tripadvisor and booking.com reviews , i booked cadorna 100euros/day.. If it isn't a photoshop, then i am God... Terrible rooms, quite noisy, not a shampoo, not a foam bath,... Don't want to say more , i just post 2 pictures...
also if you can notice, most travellers that havee reviewed this hotel, have only 1 review... Not antoher activity!

“Not a place to be recommended”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 December 2008

My son and I were traveling in Rome and we were not happy with our stay at all. Building located in condo across the street was very dark and dirty and sometimes, the elevator did not work. The room was horrible and we could hear everything going on in the other rooms. Moreover breakfast was really poor: it consisted just in a prepacked croissant and one coffee that you have to make by yourself. I will definitively not return.
