“Good location to stay”

I stayed this B&B with my husband in June this year and Rome was our first stop. Location is very good and around 10 mins walk from Termini location. Room is clean and with nice decoration. Mary is so wonderful and she helped us a lot for planning our trip afterwards and gave us advice on our route. She helped to check the train schedule as well. I appreciate it. There was a free breakfast coupon included and we enjoyed it in a nearby cafe. Nice and convenient! Since location is very good and easy to find, I highly recommend to my friends who will be on holiday in Rome.

“Good place to stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 November 2011

We were here last month. Mary is very helpful. Provides lots of info. My adapter wouldn't work in her plugs so she bought a converter for me to use. The B&B is along abusy street which is both good and bad. Good from a standpoint of close to the Termini. Bus stop right out the door. Bad in that it can be noisy at night. Good restaruant right next door. Only got one towel each per and it wasn't chagned each day.

“Our best experience in four weeks in Italy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 November 2011

This is a fantastic bargain in the heart of Rome. Mary is absolutely wonderful. She gave good advice on where to go, how to get there, and even took us to her favorite shoes store so we could find shoes like hers. Room was bright, spacious, and well decorated. Air conditioning was reliable and the room was quiet. It is easy walking distance from Termani station and other subway stops. The voucher she gives is good for coffee and pastry at a nearby bar/cafe which also has a 10 euro pitcher of sangria with copious snacks each day from 3:30-6:30. There is a safe and fridge in each room and a small market nearby where you can buy fruit, cheese, meat and a roll for picnic lunches. There is also a laundry nearby that will wash and fold your laundry for a very reasonable fee. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

“Great location and love Mary!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 November 2011

My husband and I stayed at Gulliver's Lodge B&B for three nights in October 2011--it was great! Mary, who runs the B&B, is an absolute delight--she is extremely helpful, kind, willing to give recommendations on activities and restaurants. She lives nearby and is more than happy to provider her cell number in case any need arises. Wifi available in room and coupons for breakfast provided for nearby cafe (coffee and pastry--perfect Italian breakfast). Location was absolutely perfect--very convenient to Termini train station (where we arrived and also provided easy access to Rome airport) and walking distance to many famous sights. Room large and quiet, bed comfortable, bathroom small but adequate. Computer in lobby available if needed. Loved our stay at Gulliver's Lodge B&B!

“Highest of recommendations.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 October 2011

We arrived late in the rain and called Mary from the terminal. She told us not to walk in the rain, but that she would wait there for us even though it was already late. She did. From the moment we first met her she was wonderful. She gave us all kinds of helpful recommendations and info about sights to see and getting to them. We would recommend Gulliver's to everyone....and we already have. The rooms were beautifully decorated and felt very romantic. Mary even upgraded our room after a couple of nights because no one was staying in the bigger room. It was equipped with a bathtub which is unheard of in lots of places in Europe....especially at this price. I enjoyed soaking in the tub after days in bustling Rome. The B & B is close to the heart of Rome. We walked everywhere from there. The breakfast across the street at a little street cafe (which you get with vouchers she gives you) was delicious. We enjoyed a nice coffee and croissant each morning before we hit the streets. We can't recommend this place high enough. If it is available.....grab it. You'll be glad you did.
