I recently stayed in the Hotel Dina on a school trip. We were here for 3 nights and I feel that, in Rome, you really get what you pay for. this hotel was cheap and cheerful. The location is fantastic, so close to Termini station and within easy walking distance of the Coliseum and Forum. The rooms were basic but clean although the bathroom was tiny and the shower was quite temperamental. The only problem I had with this hotel was that the breakfast is only just adequate. The coffee was horrible and out of a machine and there were no tea bags for the duration of the stay. There was one loaf of fresh bread which you had to cut yourself and, unless you got there early, the yoghurts vanished! The reception staff were super friendly and helpful at all times but there was one member of staff who was most unpleasant and who shouted at our pupils when their key broke in the door of their bedroom. He seemed to think it was their fault, when it obviously was not. Another lovely man came however, and worked for a considerable amount of time to get the broken key out of the door and let the girl into her room. To sum up, this is a good enough hotel if you only want somewhere to crash while you are seeing the sights, but, if I was going with my family or staying for longer, I probably wouldn't choose it

I went to the Hotel Dina for two nights on a school trip. The room and bathroom were quite small, but clean, and sweetly decorated. Breakfast was simple, but very good. There were some ants, but that is normal in hot countries. Hotel staff were helpful. Hotel Dina is in an amazing location, very near to the Termini Station, and all the tourist sites are in walking distance.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. Hotel located in the heart of the city. This is a good location. But living conditions are terrible. The room and bathroom are very small, but it's not the worst. In the hotel is very dirty with a lot of ants and cockroaches. During the first two nights we were bitten by some insects. The whole body itched and was covered with huge red spots. At our request the administration inn gave us a spray of these insects. For the use of air conditioning we were told to pay extra, but we did not understand how much. One said 15 euro’s, while the other 10. It's not saving money. If you want to enjoy your holiday, do not stay in this hotel.

I should have read the last review better and the signs and for the extra 10 Euro a night get a bathroom in your room!

The guy knew little of what was in the room, POOR!

Kept ringing me for the extra money once I'd changed rooms because of the flood in the shared bathroom, even after I told him I'd pay him in the morning when I picked up my receipt. (yes he was cautious)

Loved hearing the music from my window. Room 306 was pretty ok as a twin
