“Value for money”

We stayed for 4 nights in October with friends. The rooms were very clean with nice big comfortable beds. Our room was compact check out the photos. The ensuite bathrooms were clean too. Our room had flat screen TV (Italian tv). No phone but we could get WIFI free so used skype. There are no tea or coffee facilities but we had brought our own. Fridge. Remote control air conditioning unit and a wall safe (both free). Our bathroom had wall mounted hair dryer, jacuzzi bath, shower over bath, loo, bidet and nice big sink in a vanity unit. Our friends room had a smaller bathroom with only a shower. The views from the rooms with balconies at the back of the hotel are just of roofs but the rooms at the front overlook the street. The rooms as the front are larger but are over some lively bars so if you like going to bed early ask for a room at the back. The colleseum is about 100 yards away to the left of Imperial Rooms. There is a taxi rank around the corner and a cash point machine, pharmacy, plenty of eating places and a supermarket locally. The owners/employees were all very friendly and pleasant. I would definitely recommend using there taxi service. We didn't on the way in and paid 58 euros - their taxi charged 48 euros to take us back to the airport and there were four passengers.

  • Liked — Comfortable bed, jacuzzi bath after a long day site seeing
  • Disliked — Views from balcony and noisy bar late at night but we were that tired we slept through it anyway

“What a lovely place!”

My wife and I stayed at the Imperial Rooms on May 7th to 14th, 2007. I must say that this is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. I could hardly contain my excitement when I saw the room!

I had an unbelievable rate of Euro 130,00 per night including breakfast. The room was very nice, with a enjoyable view on the Colosseum( just 30 metres walking from the building) large, two terraces with lounge chairs, very big bathroom with an enormous jacuzzi bath and all kind of comfort a person could need! We also had drinks in room such as sparkling wine.Unfortunately I didn't think about making some photos of the room but I can't forget its perfect style.

The hotel was recently renovated and it showed everywhere. The staff was very helpful and was more than willing to recommend excellent places to eat.
We found the hotel to be in a very good location. From our room window we could see a park named Colle Oppio.I found it to be a great place to feel free of city pollution. ty and back, although that is a very long walk each way.
The Imperial Rooms is a wonderfull property in the heart of Rome well situated for the business traveler or the casual tourist. If you can find the rate I was lucky enough to find - book it! You won't regret it - this is one of the top hotels in Rome.
