I stayed at the CK bed and breakfast for two nights and found the place to be fine. We had originally booked Aenea's b&b but as there was a problem with the bathroom upon arrival we were moved into CK's instead. Location was good for arriving and departing to Rome as it is fairly close to the Termini train station and terravision bus stop that takes you to the airport. It was about 15-20 min walk to the Colloseum which was fine but a bit far from some of the other attractions, but still within walking distance - wherever you stay you'll never be close to everything as the tourist attractions are pretty spread out in Rome. You can use the metro or buses but we opted to just stick to walking. The area of the b&b admitedly seemed a little scruffy but then a lot of Rome was scruffy looking- the whole city seems to suffer from graffiti and other man made nasties; shame really. However we felt perfectly safe at all times of the day and night in and around CK b&b. Once inside the building it was clean and well maintained. The room we stayed in (no. 1) was large enough, clean, comfortable, well furnished and well presented and the en suite served its purpose. Breakfast consisted of an offering of cereal's, toast, yoghurts, cakes, juices and coffee. All of which you prepare yourself which I actualy think worked well as you could eat as much/little as you want and as fast or slow as you want meaning you can get out and start sight seeing quickly. Sure there is no reception or staff as such but then this doesn't pretend to be a hotel; its a comfortable bedroom with breakfast provided. If you're looking to stay in Rome and don't want to pay the earth for a room that you'll hardly spend any time in as you're going to be out all day enjoying the city, then I'd highly recommend staying here.
