This b&b is placed in a very nice area with good shopping opportunity. Walking distance to most Rome attractions. In particular we would highlight the great service by the staff and the authentic setting of the b&b and room.

Location is very good and convenient - the street is full of stores with fashionable clothes, cafes, street vendors, and minimarts. The hotel itself is very difficult to find, because there is no sign on the building (and because the hotel is actually a 6-room apartment on the 2nd floor of the building). To sum up the obvious negatives: 1) hard to find, 2) late arrivals - expect the manager to keep on calling your cell phone starting from 7 p.m. - he has to go home at 8 p.m. (9 p.m. tops), 3) the manager is there from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. only, so you better not have any problems at night, for there won't be anybody to take care of your needs, 3) free WiFi was promised 24/7, but in fact the manager disconnected his master computer and router at 8 pm each day (we had to ask them a few times not to do it), 3) all TV channels are in Italian (this is not your regular hotel with at least German, French or Russian channels for your convenience), 4) the toilet and the sink appeared to have been talking to each other every time we flushed (they made some weird noises - probably, the piping), 4) kitchen is designed to fit only 6 people at a time, so you might have to wait for your turn to have breakfast (there's no turn, actually, for the manager might forget to call you when a table is available - it happened to us).

Friendly and helpfull staff, clean, comfortable room, a good breakfast of your choice. Excellent location in the heart of Rome, Vatican within walking distance and very close to all main sights, 5 minutes walk from the metro station.

I think this is the best place for those who plan to explore the city.

I stayed in Rome at Residenza Cola di Rienzo in February 2011.
The neighborhood is just amazing. SItuated at a 6 minutes walk to the Vatican City, Residenza Cola di Rienzo is a couple of rooms in a very classy and elegant roman building. Even though it is situated on the street Cola di Rienzo, one of Rome's shopping areas, this residenza has sound proof windows so that sleep problems do NOT exist.
There are two metro stations (Lepanto and Ottaviano) both situated at (3 and 5) minute distance. The bus station is just across the street (bus number 81 which leads to other attractions such as the Colosseum).
The rooms are very clean and pleasant. The staff cleaned the room everyday, give us new towels, soap, bath gel and everything we needed. There is a fridge in the room full of food and drinks.
The staff is amazing! They helped us with everything we wanted, they gave us maps, advice and they smile all the time.
Breakfast is included and it's served in the room. It is just amazing (I've posted some pictures with the breakfast): Italian Coffee, Cappucino, Cafe Latte, Tea, Fruit Juice, Salami, Cheese, Croissants, Milk, Yoghurt, Cornflakes, Fruit Salad, Jem, Honey, Butter.
The Wi'fi was free and having high speed.
