I've been here for a week end and if I'll go bck to Rome I'm sure I'll book here again. Room was clean, comfortable. Breakfast is included and you eat it in your room, which I really appreciated. The owner is a nice person, he told us which where the most famous places to see. The b&B is located a few minutes walk from the vatican museums nd from the vatican. Metro and buses are nearby.

The Laocoonte Bed & Breakfast is located in a traditional Rome Courtyard that is the center for a number of Roman homes and this gives you a real sense of living in Rome among the Romans. The accommodations are sticking because they are completely remodeled but at the same time maintaining the historical atmosphere -- the accommodations are plush and above the standard of most of the nearby hotels. The breakfast in the morning is traditional Roman but classical in every respect and served by the owners who are very congenial and speak fluent English. In the early morning the Via Francesco becomes a “produce distribution center” which might be disturbing to some but for me was quite fascinating. Vatican City is a few minutes away and there are many historical attractions and great restaurants within easy walking distance.

B&B Laocoonte is a must stay. My girlfriend and I spent 2 nights at Laocoonte, and we came back for a third night. The owners of the place are really nice and inviting. The photos on the website are an accurate depiction of the place. The location is perfect; next to Vatican City and 2 minutes from the train. The breakfast is good as well. Also, the place is immaculately clean and tidy. If you come to Rome, you can't go wrong with Laocoonte. The B&B has the privacy of a hotel and the coziness of country house. It is perfect.

We stayed 3 nights in rome and Giordano was very helpful and kind. He pointed out the major attractions, helped us with a vatican tour and pointed out close supermarkets. Our room did have a external "private" bathroom but the bed was very comfortable and the AC was cool (although a little noisy). Location was a 10 minute walk to the vatican and 5 minutes to a metro stop.
