My wife and I stayed there 4 nights in September 2011 for our honeymoon trip, this place made our trip much happier :)
Marco, the host, is very kind and patient with all kinds of questions; the local resteraunt and shop recommended by Marco are very good.
The B&B location is perfect, 3 mins walking to the Metro, and ~15mins walking distance to Vatican, very quiet and safe; with air conditioner so you don't have to worry about the summer time.

We stayed there on the Easter holiday, so the price was at high season
price, but other good things payed it off. First of all the guy who
meets you - Marco is very kind person willing to help you in any
question. We had a very plesant chat for an hour. Another good thing
is that rooms are made from former appartaments, so you have a kitchen
where you may prepare something to eat or drink whenever You want. The
metro stop is nearby, but You can reach all the places of interest on
foot. The only small disadvantage was that they there were no shampoo
- only liquid soap. If I ever will come back to Rome, I'm sure that I
will not search for anything better for the same price.

My husband & I stayed at Maison Genevois 3 B&B in April 2011. This B&B is located in an apartment building in the Prati section of Rome just north of Vatican City. It is a lovely neighborhood convenient to the Metro & 2 bus routes; the #30 bus takes you into the historic center & the #280 into Trastevere. Marco, the owner, was very pleasant & helpful and took care of our arrangements for car service from the airport and later in our stay to the bus depot. Marco also made the reservations for us for our visit to the Galleria Borghese. The B&B has a self-service kitchen for breakfast and snacks with each room having a shelf in the refrigerator. While this was very helpful we found that we ate breakfast at the nearby Faggiani Bar where we enjoyed fresh pastries, latte & cappucino. Our room was very clean, had a small terrace and we found that there was plenty of room for our luggage & moving about the room. We had an en suite bathroom which was convenient. The free WiFi was helpful & worked best in the kitchen. We were surprised our first night with the sounds of what we believe were seagulls & actually came to enjoy hearing them. Our room overlooked a courtyard for a court and government buildings. In the mornings we awoke to the sounds of people lining up for work and/or the courts - it was fun to look out & see the people in line and also to hear them greeting each other in the morning. Marco was always available by phone and is a delightful gentleman. We would definitely stay here again & recommend it to friends.

Maison Genevois is located in a very quiet and safe place in Rome, close both to Vatican and the old centre of Rome, with very convenient transport connections . The rooms are very clean and cosy and the whole place has an artistic atmosphere. The prices are very good for the quality of the accomodation and the services. The owner of Maison Genevois, Marco, is very nice and friendly.
