Travelling with one teen and three women, we booked the quad at 111. Compact and perfectly comfortable, we were close to the kitchen where Christopher pampered us with cappucinos every morning. Room and bathroom were very clean. Location was excellent. On a busy street with good shopping and easy access to Vatican, Borghesi Gardens, Castel D'Anglo and more, the apartments are set in a courtyard that shuts of the street noise. A great combination, and great value for the money. Would recommend highly.

We booked this bed and breakfast ,based on reviews we read that rated it very highly, as a special treat toward the end of our trip (it was double the cost of most accommodation that we booked over 5 weeks in Europe). Given our high expectations we were a little disappointed, however I should say that there was nothing wrong with it. Everything is adequate or above adequate however for €130 we somehow expected a little more.

Having said all this the location is fantastic. On arrival we bought a 3 day metro pass and then almost didn't use it as we could walk everywhere from our accommodation. Halfway between the Vatican and the Piazza de Popolo the position is perfect.

At risk of repeating myself, there was nothing wrong with our accommodation but none the less, position aside, we felt it was slightly overpriced (this could just reflect that we were very lucky with the rest of ur accommodation).

roberto was wonderful sent a taxi to airport to pick us up when we arrived made us a long awaited cup of coffee ,room was lovely with large double bed and single bed and nice en suite very central to everything vacatian only a short walk down the road (out door turn right and keep walking till end of road and yor there) easy to get bus to collosuem straight across the road.Our plane was not till late in the afternoon and Roberto let us stay in room till 5pm as they next people were not due in till 9pm fablous place we will be going back recommend it .

A beautiful city made all the better for finding an excellent bed & breakfast in Roberto's 111 in the Via Cola di Rienzo just behind the Vatican. His staff were friendly, the beds comfortable and cleaned daily. My mother is an expert at finding any faults and could not find one. My daughter, cousin and niece's first introduction to Rome was first class. Go before it's constantly booked up - we will definitely be back. I'd give it a 10..Enjoy........chrissie,newcastle.
