I booked this hotel based on other reviews and was not disappointed! My boyfriend and I had spent ages trying to find a nice hotel on a fairly limited budget and this fitted the bill perfectly. Our room was spotless. and was a lit larger than we were expecting. Renato, our host, was brilliant at suggesting great places to eat and the best way to get around the city. We loved our stay so much and have recommended it to all our friends looking to visit Rome.

My boyfirend and I searched for ages to find decent, reasonably priced accommodation in Rome that was close to everything we wanted to see, and finally we found it!
Our stay at Cernaia Suite was what made our trip to Rome. We stayed for 9 days and felt so comfortable (in fact, it was the safest and most comfortable i felt on our whole trip!)
The B&B is so close to all the main attractions, it's the perfect base to use for sightseeing. And it's so clean!!!!
Renato our host was absolutely amazing. So knowledgeable, kind and helpful. We cannot thank him enough. He cetainly knows his way around the city and in all my life, I have never had better food or coffee than at the restaurants and eateries Renato reccommended to us! I can't wait to visit Rome again, and when I do, I hope the good people at Cernaia Suite will have us!

We couldn't speak more highly of our stay at Cernaia Suite B&B. We stayed for 4 nights, with the idea that we wanted to be central enough to be able to walk around Rome most of the time. This was possible with the good location of Cernaia - we only used the metro 2-3 times over 5 days to save a little time (and aching feet!). We got the train from the airport to Termini and walked from there to Cernaia which was easy enough. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was served in the room and was lovely (with very nice coffee!) - quite light but enough. The neighbourhood felt safe enough, and the B&B itself felt very secure. Renato was helpful, welcoming and his recommendations for restaurants/walking routes/itineraries were great. We really couldn't fault our stay and would be happy to recommend to friends/family. We based our decision to stay here on positive reviews from this site among others so we also wanted to do our bit!

Cernaia Suite is a simple, immaculately clean bed and breakfast with 5 rooms. Renato, the owner, offers a wealth of invaluable information whether it be directions, restaurants, train schedules, tours, attractions, etc. He's the best!! The location is perfect if you want to walk this wonderful city, take the Metro, bus or catch a train to other Italy locations. The neighborhood is safe and has some great places to eat nearby. Listen to Renato, he is right on with his recommendations. If you would rather buy some Italian delicacies to enjoy in your room, a supermarket and great Italian deli/bakery are a short walk. As is Trimani, a terrific, huge wine store with selections shelved by growing region. Wish I could go back tomorrow!!
