“lovely place to spend some quality moments”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 April 2010

I use to travel a lot due to my job, seen a lot of places but from the beggining i was very impressed by the worm,friendly-like hospitality, young spirits and open minded people wich i meet there from the hotel staff, wich really impressed me by their way of making myself really felt like i was some honoured guest.
It was a homelike feeling, with everything in is own place, not that too luxorios and complicated ways of making yourself in having a good and relaxing time.it felt like a good place to visit from just looking around in the first moments. Didn't expect so much activities to be done in that hotel, but i was surprised also by the beautifull sorroundings.
A place that i will visit again next time, maybe with some more friends,a place that you keep in your mind for a comeback.

“A truly pleasant hotel in Rome”

i stayed in a triple room with direct telephone, air con, TV, room safe and full minibar. The hotel has a restaurant with a terrace and italian cuisine. The location is a green and peacefull place with tall trees. i've heard that the zone is called the Green Zone and it's a very real and rightfull description.
Nice lobby with leather couches, nice bar with quality service and all kind of artifacts in the lobby.
There is also wifi (i guess from the meeting rooms) and a big parking space
I recommend this hotel

“Highly recommended, definantly requires a return visit for its' prime location, and friendly, efficient staff.”

Staying at Villa Eur was an absolute pleasure. The staff are friendly and always happy to assist, making you feel like you have found your home away from home. The accomodation and facilities provided are real value for money, and the tranquil surroundings of the hotel ensure that you get a perfects night sleep.

The location is so convenient, within five minutes walking distance from public transport, fantastic shops, restaurants, parks and flea markets. Practically everything you need is just arround the corner.

From the great cappuccino's in the morning to the welcoming smiles of the staff, I would definantly recommend Villa Eur as the place to stay if you want to have a memorable Roman experience. Thumbs up.

“Title: Villa Eur - A bit basic”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 October 2006

I was booked into this hotel which is in the business district south of Rome, because it was half term and the other hotels were full. At first sight it is in a nice park on a hill and is a brand new build with spacious public areas based on a roman theme.

What a disappointment then the rooms - small and hard - marble floors (OK so that's Italian), one hard chair, nowhere to sit and work (TV on only table, only showing Italian channels), shower but no bath. Clean and adequate but that's about it. What's more - being in a park there were two five-a-side football pitches under my window which were nosily and lighted in operation at 22.30 - definitely need ear plugs and the AC which was not working.

Restaurant was furnished more like a cafe and the food was plain but all fresh and home cooked and tasty. The staff were very friendly which made up for some of the other disappointments. And there is readily available wifi.

It's about 15 minutes walk from the metro station.

  • Liked — Clean and the staff were very friendly
  • Disliked — Small poorly equipped bedrooms
