Four members of our family (father, mother, 21 year old son, 17 year old daughter) stayed in Garden Apartment 1. It matched the photos on the web site closely: one spacious room with a double bed, another good size room with two pullout beds, and a very nice patio. Bathroom was adequate, kitchen was studio-style (small). Coffee, tea, milk, juice, cereal, cracker bread supplied. Towels, soap, bathroom tissue all supplied.
At 400 Euros for three nights, this apartment was quite a good value. But be prepared for a self-sufficient experience, rather than being treated as a guest. Roberto Collavini did not seem to relish the role of host....he was polite, but gave us only minimal orientation. Still, the space, and esp. the patio, so close to the Vatican, was really worth it. If you know Viale Vaticano, you know that it goes uphill...so be prepared for a long uphill walk back unless you take the bus! The up side: a very nice view. Also, be prepared to somehow transfer Euros for reservation (no credit card) and to pay in cash on arrival. Seems typical of small B&Bs.
