Whilst like many people have noted, the B&B is pretty clean with the exception of no daily maid service that you would usually find at a B&B. Towels and sheets are changed weekly, if you're lucky enough to be provided towels.
The location is convenient to the Vatican Museum, St Peters Basilica and a transport, however, the biggest down side for me - a lone traveller in a small (45 euro room a night) without a view, without a tv, a bad spring bed and no towels, was the fact that the resident upstairs is awake until 2am each night scraping furniture across the thin woodern floor consistantly for 3 hours a night.
While the staff are courteous, they did nothing to resolve the issue, even after staying there 5 nights. I would not stay here again for this reason.
In fairness though, the rooms facing the Vatican (twin and tri rooms) may not have the experiences I did being on the otherside of the floor with bigger more adequate/expensive rooms. Expect to pay before you stay.
The bathrooms are shared and there are obvious signs reminding guests to consider other guests and clean up after using the bathrooms. This is fine, but there is no tools provided ie: towels (paper or otherwise) to help you clean up after your shower/shave etc...
The B&B is in a commercial building shared by both residents and businesses. If the tiny 3 person elevator is out of order and you have luggage, expect to climb 5 sets of stairs to the 4th floor.
