We are not the guys, who complain on the service, but this place was something extraordinary. First of all it was pretty difficult to find the place, because there is no any signboard on the building.
The second surprise is that the receptionist doesn’t speak English at all… literally… on every our question asked in English we’ve got the answer in Italian. I don’t expect fluent English, but no English at all in the center of Rome? Seriously?!
We were there 4 nights. In the middle of the second night somebody was trying to check in, so they were ringing on the door and calling to the telephone, which was on the reception, and we could hear every call with no answer, it was awful, but when I thought how this guy felt, I understand that we were lucky.
Evening before the third night the receptionist asked us to move to the neighbor room, because they expect the big family and our room is the biggest in the hotel. We were nice and agreed. When we asked when he wants us to move, he answered (and I’m quoting): “Tomorrow this room to this room”. In the morning, he told us that there are people there yet, so we should pack our luggage and leave it at the reception till evening like for check-out. Believe you don’t want this on your vacation.
