“Just average perfect”

As i said above - it was perfectly in the middle! Staff was great and nice, place was also amazing. Room was...erm..just ok.nothing bad to say, but also nothing to remember. A perfect, not-very-expensive-option for someone whos booking was cancelled :)
10-15minutes walk from St Peter Square. Ladies serving breatfasts are very nice, especially when you're the one waiting before seven o'clock in the morning to start your RomeTrip as early as possible!

“Very good value, good location, clean, friendly”

Stayed for 3 nights with my spouse on holiday. Room was clean and functional, although far from fancy.
Location is good. It's not in the the historic center of Rome where most of the sights are, but it's a ten minute walk there. It's a block away from metro and bus stations. We enjoyed walking to most of the places we wanted to see.
Rooms were basic yet very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast basic yet completely satisfying for us. Altogether we definitely enjoyed this hotel and would recommend it.

“Good no frills hotel in fantastic location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 February 2010

Stayed here during a rainy week in Rome, so we really appreciated the proximity to the Metro station (2 mins walk) on Line A, and also to the bus stop.
Hotel staff was very friendly, helpful and front desk staff had good English.
Room was large and clean and bed had great mattress and pillows (better than in some 5 star hotels I've been to).
Liked least:
Breakfast was a bit boring but adequate quantities
Shower partition could be redone so water wouldn't leak all over the bathroom floor.

We read what others wrote about the noise from the elevator so we asked (and got) a room far from it and slept like a log.

“CONVIENIENT, INEXPENSIVE, FRIENDLY”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 February 2010

Spent 3 nights next to the elevator, didn't hear it once, Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, even with a bit of a language barrier. If you want all the frills, this one is not for you but if you want a clean, comfortable place to stay, this is the place at a third of the cost of the big name hotels. Close to the subway, so nothing is very far, and you can walk to the Vatican. Only breakfast is available here, but there are many outdoor/indoor restaurants close to the hotel.
