Located very close to the entrance to the Vatican Musuem, this B&B is ideally located for visits to Vatican CIty. Only a few (well lit) blocks away is the Metro so travel to other areas of Rome is convenient and inexpensive. Good restaurants are nearby as are shops and pharmacies. Located off-street in a courtyard of buildings, city noise disappears. Still, the sign at the street entrance to the courtyard makes this place easy to find. Located on the second floor (as Americans call it), there is an elevator (lift) so luggage can be brought up easily. The B&B itself is bright, clean, modern, and very well decorated by the artist -proprietors, sisters Daniela and Ilaria Fresa. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The bed sagged a bit in the middle when my wife and I both lay down but we slept soundly. Daniela met us at breakfast every morning and happily offered advice and directions as needed. Our private bathroom was clean and modern. The shower stall was a little small but adequate. Reliable, free WiFi makes using a laptop to help plan your day and check email a breeze. In short, this is a fine place to stay when visitng Rome and offers a good value. Like most B&Bs in Italy, cash rather than a credit card is needed at check-in so be sure to visit the ATM (called a Bancomat in Italy) before checking in.
